We had two very slow waitresses. Our first waitress was inattentive and it wasnt until the second waitress that we found out that we would be charged for each of the very weak unsweetened iced teas. As we sat down, we asked for separate checks. We not get separate checks. That was the most basic request we could have made, and she was either unwilling or unable due to the register settings, it wasnt clear. We split the check ourselves on the back of the receipt. My wife ordered an "ultimate nachos" and I ordered a cup of chili to dip the nachos in. The nachos stood barely an inch off the plate, including the tomatoes and jalapenos. There were no onions or olives to be found. The chips were obviously from the bottom of a pile, as there were (we counted) 12 whole chips and the remainder were mostly smaller than half-sized, all of them were soggy and limp, and there wasnt enough cheese on them to warrant such a state. They were all cold. Both of our portions were small for the price. The chili was lacking in flavor, but was, at least, (mildly) spicy as advertised. My wife asked for extra salsa in a small bowl for dipping, and was told there would be a charge of 60 cents. The small portions of salsa came in two tiny plastic takeout cups. Luckily, there werent even enough chips to use up the small cup that came with the chips for free. Our meal was $25, and we could have received just as much food, warmer and tastier, with plenty of salsa, unlimited drink refills, and faster service at Taco Bell for a third of that price.

Terrible service. Not sure whats going on with this bar staff but they really need some work. At first I thought it was a great place but once I got there I couldnt get service. Everything took forever and the bartenders acted like they had something better to do all night. I use a company card and needed my check split because it was over my 75 dollar limit. You would have thought it was the end of the world to these bar tenders to split it. It was a hassle and over a 45 min wait on a Wednesday to get my check split. When I gave them a crappy tip for the crappy service the bartender tried to call me out on it. I let her know how terrible her service was...it was company money, not mine, I would have given 30% which my company allows but I respect, and appreciate my company enough to not give terrible service money they dont deserve. It was pretty pathetic actually....Im gonna go back and give them one more try. If they dont want my money/companies money then Ill gladly go elsewhere. No problem from me. I had a 120 dollar bar tab and apparently no matter how terrible the service was they expected a generous tip. Not gonna happen in the real word. I dont expect to be treated like royalty but dont be garbage and dont treat me as such while expecting normality from then pocket book, no matter whos money it is.

8.6.15 - The most ridiculous dining experience I have ever experienced in my life, also the first and LAST time I ever go here! Met some friends here last night. Long story short, there were bugs with legs, atop the potato chips on one of the plates. We requested the mgr. who apologized, took the plate away and brought out a new meal, minus the chips of course. When the waitress brought our bill, I asked if they took off the meal for my friend. She replied yes that they took off the meal they "too away" but they charged her for the replacement dinner!!! Really, you arent comping the meal??? She said thats what the mgr. instructed. Naturally we asked to see the mgr. again. The mgr. came out and brought a HUGE attitude with her. Said that was the best they were going to do and totally blew us off and walked away!! JT Maxies needs some training in customer service, not to mention food quality control. Curious to learn who owns the place, because if you knew the friends I was with, you know this isnt going to end here!

Ok Im giving a 3. Service and drinks were awesome. Waitress was a home run....Thx Heather! However no fish for fish tacos was disappointing. Wife really had a taste for em. Food quality. Well Boom Boom shrimp tasted good. Nice mix with the Cole slaw. The fries seemed over cooked and soggy. The outside seating was a plus. Would we go back.....Yes. few things to improve on in regards to food.

well I ordered the corned beef Reuben at first glimpse it looked like it had small shreds of corned beef little bit of sauerkraut no Russian at Second Glance the bread was not even toasted I dont understand what they are calling a Reuben. sent it back took twice as long as the first time not pleased with this place and Im sorry but they only had 3 tables to wait on not coming back.

Food is typically pretty good. Mostly bar food as you would expect but with creative flourishes here and there. Thai calamari is one good example. Great quality overall. Can get pretty packed in on weekend nights. Service is good though occasionally spotty. Some live music as well as karaoke.

Went for sports. Olympic mens hockey quarter finals. No sound, only 3 tv. Lame. Wanted an IPA or good beer. They had 1 IPA that tasted like a stale lager. Tried other options and not 1 good beer. Love wings. They came out burnt and the hot hot hot sauce was very unsauced and not hot.

My order was completely wrong and it took forever for the correct order to come out. I ended up having to eat by myself as everyone else had finished their meal once mine had come out and it still wasnt right. So disappointing.

Maxies conveniently located close to the Albany International airport. My turkey club was delightful and the beer appropriately chilled. Service was attentive and friendly. A great alternative to airport pricing.

Food was bad, bugs in our food. Manager did not help. Fully charged for meal with bugs in it. Horrible manager, horrible food, horrible customer service. Should have known by the lack of people, not to stay.

Loved Michols Karaoke and dance nights, delicious food and great service. The staff are always kind and courteous - always a pleasure to visit for a fun times with a nice company!

Meh. fried stuff was good... French dip was rubbery and 4p minutes from order until being served. Nice patio, but there are better places than this in the area

I love coming here after work in the Summer. Usually live music and quick service. The food is pretty good at a reasonable price, same with the drinks.

This is a regular bar and grill. I went on karaoke night and it was a little empty with a couple dozen people there.

Outdoor patio is nice....other than that, the food is mostly burgers and sandwiches. service is a little slow also

We had lunch and thought the quesadillas were excellent. Our waitress was attentive. Nice decor.
