Have a played here before in past years when vacationing. Now that my children are getting older and interested in golf, I thought this would be a great place to teach them the game. I was hoping to teach them how to read a green, course management, shot alignment and other tricks and tips. Unfortunately this cant be done at Laguna Oaks. We were badgered our entire round that we were too slow. It was recommended that the kids not finish every hole to keep pace. We did offer to have other groups behind us play through. They were fine with our pace and politely declined. Long story short. The old man who runs the place is an angry curmudgeon and should leave people be. He lost an entire family of customers today and everyone else that might read my review.

Beautiful layout. Challenging but also a good practice course. Staff was friendly. My only recommendation is take care of the tee boxes better. A lot of divots. Shot to ****. Other then that my family and i will definitely be playing here again.

I agree with Ken on his review. The course had a fun layout and was is good condition. However, the staff and the starter were not very welcoming. They lacked common sense and did not value the customers.
