I am intrigued that all but two of the reviews date back 5 years or more. Perhaps the ACCC is deleting the more recent ones that tell the truth? Friend and I played 3 rounds in AC area May 2013: ACCC, Ballamor and Twisted Dune. ACCC was by far the worst. Shabby facilities, poorly maintained fairways, bunkers, and greens, swarms of annoying flying insects, and "seaside views" that turned out to be a huge swamp with the unremarkable AC skyline in the distance. No matter WHAT you hear or read, the Emperor has no clothes, and he is charging a preposterous green fee to see him. Stay away from ACCC and play Ballamor instead. Excellent course and a relative bargain. Ballamors owners just bought ACCC so perhaps they will turn it around, but until they do, ACCC will do nothing but disappoint.

A Private User

The ACCC is a great test, and one of the few authentic links-style courses in the state. Dont be fooled by the scorecard - this course plays much longer than the yardage will suggest. The greens are fast and undulating, and the conditions are top-notch. Fans of Seaviews Bay Course and Galloway National will love this place. Like most old-school venues, a great walking course, with greens and tees close together. Not a bargain by any stretch, but definitely worth the price as a destination course.

my expectations were high and i wasnt disappointed!! the entire course, tee to green, is in absolute perfect condition. the course layout is the best Ive ever seen in a public course. i dont know another course around that is more fun to play. the practice area is stellar. maybe the best clubhouse in jersey. beautiful views on every hole. i though the course was both challenging and forgiving. it definitely carries its weight as the top spot holder!!

Garbage ranger staff. Absolute racist cliché of an old white dude named Ron will ruin your day. Totally not accommodating of newer players. No patience or concern. Super combative and antagonistic. Do not go here if youre a newer player or just human who values not being verbally accosted.

The food was very good and plenty of it. Corn and crab soup delicious. Breaded veal with huge amount of salad on it,very goodour waitress was right on. Most of all the company of the family I was with wonderful. Celebrated Jackqlins birthday.

Great venue for groups. Bar service was excellent tonight next to the tap room, for a private event. Food was good as well. If you mind parking on the lawn this isnt the place for you. When it is busy the lot fills quicky.

Just had a Thansgiving meal here. Although the main portions of the meal werent the best, nonetheless it was a buffet. The staff were extremely friendly which made our large group family dinner happy and appreciative.

The golf course is historic but yet modern and challenging. The greens were in great shape. Enjoy a scotch after your round they have a good selection and the bar staff is very friendly and courteous.

Havent been to ACCC for a while but it used to be spectacular in the early 2000s. One of the best courses you could ever play on a day to day basis. At the time it was immaculately maintained.

Played 18 on Friday with a 11 other guys, awesome conditions, fast greens, new pro sand bunkers, we had a blast. Then beverages and apps in mens locker room! All around five stars.
