This park is a gem, but Hudson County needs to take better care of it. If you go in the woods you will find LOTS of litter and what looks like various hangouts and encampments. The woods need to be cleaned and patrolled. The County should reseed the grass-less dirt areas in the 2 remaining natural grass baseball outfields. They should not continue their trend of replacing real grass with artificial grass fields which they then fence and lock the public out of, usable by permit only. The public should be able to use the fields when teams with permits arent using them - fences and locks arent necessary. Trees should be planted to replace the trees that have died. Hopefully the new lake retainer wall and walkway will be a successful improvement.

Beatiful park located in the outskirts of Norrh Bergen, NJ just before passing over into Bergen County (Fairview, NJ). It offers a water park for the kids and playgrounds, raquetball, handball, tennis, baseball, soccer, basketball and plenty of green grass to layout in to catch some sun rays peacefully. The only drawback at the moment is the reconstruction of the main lake which serves as a track for running, jogging, and speed walking for those into that. At one time there was also fishing allowed but once everything is finished I will update this to show what offerings this new construction will bring.

Discussing picnic erea. We read great the reviews & decided to make a family barbecue in the park. Yes the park looks nice with some nice playgrounds. But everything is far from the picnic erea & you have to cross streets to get there. The kids had to run around on the dusty picnic grounds with nothing to do. No lights so as soon as it got dark we couldnt even see where our stuff is to get them together. Maybe its a nice Park but horrible picnic erea!

As a kid I use to come Manhattan to the park to race my BMX bike alone with my friends we would ride from Harlem get in to jersey stop a local 7 eleven make our way to Cliffside bicycles shop then on to Braddock race and race all day Saturday and Sunday it was a ABA TRACK, AMERICAN BICYCLE ASSOCIATION , Mr necco ran the track at that time if Im not mistaken

We love coming to this park but the sprinkler park floor needs to be inspected. Many children including my own were slipping from the rubber floor they have. I am not sure what kind of flooring it is but children with both swim shoes and barefoot were slipping and falling on their backs. Other than that we love coming here its a beautiful place.

Very nice splash pad to cool in the summer, bring a bathing suit (be careful, a bit slippery), two different playground, one for ages 5-12 and one for 2-5. Lots of green area to sit and relax and snack, nice and clean bathrooms very close to the splash pad. Free street parking. We had fun!

Its a beautiful place. The lake in the center is gorgeous with fountains and ducks/geese like to hang around it too. Theres a playground, sports sections, nature trails, picnic tables, and plenty of wide open space which I love. Definitely my favorite place to go in the neighborhood.

Pretty big park considering North Bergens size. Lots of room for events and parties and such. School stadiums are located here and they kinda lack in quality in my opinion. Other then that the park is fairly well maintained and theres a lot of trees for shade.

I love going to this park all year round. During the summer its great for kids with the playground and sprinklers section. My daughter loves it. They are always expanding the park so all different areas can come and enjoy its beauty.

Love this park. Its pretty huge with baseball fields, BBQ areas, small water playground for kids, and a nice size lake to take a walk around it. For the most part its pretty clean and doesnt feel overcrowded.

A very nice park with some nice baseball fields, tennis courts, and a lake stocked regularly with fish. The drainage and the landscaping could be a little better but overall it is pleasant and, safe.

My all time favorite park anywhere!!! Its lush and an oasis from insane Bergenline Av. I love the fearless fat ass ducks in the man made lake. Could use more restrooms but overall great.

Huge park with all sorts of recreational areas. The lake gets stocked with fish and there is some decent wildlife that lives there. Parking is difficult during predictable busy hours.

We went here for the " movies in the park" night. The park is very huge...we drove around for 10 minutes to get to the spot..however the viewpoints were spectacular.

Gets crowded. They also need to open the restrooms, there is no reason to have porta potties there if there are restrooms that can be opened and maintained.

Excellent park for an urban area. Updated facilities in the past year along with many events including movies and festivals have made it even better.

Good park. Big and has a nice playground. Next to my sisters Pre-K. Convenient because next to library so you can borrow a book and read it on a bench.

Its very nice here but it would be nicer if they allowed bikers to ride around the lake. Even if its only during certain hours (like between 9-11am).
