This is my favorite place for hiking and mountain biking. The terrain is great for mountain biking and the artesian well has good water. Also a bald eagle nest is visible from the floating dock and another is visible from the red trail, though these cause some of the trails to close from Jan-July. The bird blind also offers good views into the marsh towards an osprey nesting platform.

Cleaner than other parks in NJ, keep it that way. These trails are fascinating, the forest changes before your eyes as you get closer and further from the river. Great for hiking and mountain biking. Over 8 miles of trails in total, with many outlooks over the river. Picnic spots and boat landings. There are many birds to see, Osprey, Bald Eagles, and waterfowl.

This place always is worth the walk through! One of the best scenic spots in cumberland county with lots and lots of views points of the river and surrounding area. Miles and miles of trails for the ready hiker to enjoy and get accustomed to for more strenuous hikes in the future.

This is one of the few river edge hikes in our area. Varied terrain, well marked and maintained trails! There are many options for flat hiking, steps, bluff hills, long or shorter loops combining trails. or just visit the dock down an easy, old road. Good all 4 seasons. A gem!

A hidden treasure. I went for a 3 hour hike on 5 different trails and found hidden secrets in each area. And each area had very different terrain, some a bit challenging. But like all South Jersey woods, prepare for ticks and chiggers.

Great scenic tralis. Picnic tables are a nice touch. Pretty good mountain biking can be done there. Needs cleanup though. Id love to see camping be allowed maybe up top near parking area.

Gorgeous nature preserve. We saw so many varieties of flora and fauna. The forest was lush and the ruins were fascinating to explore. Highly recommended.
