I bought 2 tickets for the VIP Safari Tour for June 6th, 2015 for my boyfriends birthday. We arrived to the park and in the details of our tickets, it clearly states, "As you enter the parking lot toll booth, please present your tickets to attendant - DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING." A young teenager called his manager over she said our tickets were nothing special and that we had to pay for parking... Which we regrettably did. I paid A LOT of money for these tickets but whats an additional $25 on top of $400+ bucks, right? Neither of us have been to Six Flags in many years, and the last time we were there the safari was separate from the Amusement park. Our tickets instructed us to go to guest relations but, as I stated, we have not been there in years. We had no idea where guest relations was located. So we talked to MANY employees and asked where we should go for the VIP Safari Tour and NOBODY knew what we were talking about, nor did they know where to send us. It was like the VIP Tour didnt exist and we were making stuff up. After some searching and asking a lot of clueless employees, we found our way to the entrance of the new Safari attraction. As we were asking an employee where we should go for our VIP tour, a guard pulled my boyfriend aside and asked if he wore that t-shirt into the park (if youve ever seen the movie spring break, the front of his t-shirt had the four main characters in their bikinis on it). He said it was inappropriate, called his supervisor, took his license and wrote down his information. We were now a half hour late to our tour and very annoyed already that nobody knew where to send us. His supervisor finally came and deemed his shirt inappropriate. We were told that she could escort us to buy a new one or that we could vacate the park. I asked if he could simply turn it inside out but they didnt trust him and thought he could easily turn it the other way around. I guess I can understand that its a family park and that his shirt might be a little sexually aggressive, but theres a flippin water park where Im sure MANY women are walking around in their bikinis. And I honestly dont think that the animals would care what he was wearing on our PRIVATE tour through the safari. But whatever. This t-shirt situation aside, this whole experience really set the tone to the start of our day. After we were forced to buy a t-shirt and put it in a locker, we spoke with the guards supervisor about where we should go for our VIP Tour. They talked on their radios and seemed to figure out where we needed to be so the guard escorted us to the front of the general admissions line for the safari tour and just told us to have a seat on the large truck where 20 other people were sitting, then just walked away. My boyfriend and I knew this was not right, so I asked the guide on the truck and she told us to wait at the bottom of the ramp where our personal tour guide should meet us. We were weary if this was the right information but finally, an hour after our tour was supposed to start, our guide met us there. Some sort of signage throughout the park wouldve been helpful. Or better yet, knowledgable employees wouldve been ideal. I paid too much money for these tickets to be treated the way we were. I was very disappointed with how we were just told to wander around like lost souls in order to find our starting location and the overall customer service. So much for VIP treatment... However, after we finally started the tour, both our guide and the tour itself was excellent. Jackie was very pleasant, informative and apologetic (probably the only employee who was) about trying to find our way to her. I dont regret going, as the overall experience WITH THE ANIMALS was a great one, but if they expect people to pay that much money for these types of events, then they should be a lot more organized and treat their customers with more respect.

Went to get my season pass and seem to have been a roadblock at every turn. Once I make it though security I asked the guard where to go to get pick up my season pass he kindly directed me to the building to the right. Proceeded to the building and was not allowed in by the acting hall monitor he told me to go to the line asked him well which one. He said anyone. Good thing I looked up and read the lines you were supposed to go the lines on the right. Went and stood there and when I asked the girl processing my season pass about my dining pass and how to get that added she just said its all there. Well, it wasnt. Was directed to the customer relations line after being told I did not have a diner pass when attempting to get my souvenir cup. So back to the front of the park and into yet another long line. After finally getting my diner pass added onto my season pass I thought the worse was over with. Well, I was wrong. Went to 8 different places attempting to get my souvenir cup and every time I was directed BACK to customer relations and their line. Who assured me my diner pass was added to my season pass. Luckily I found a supervisor who was walking around the park with a big box and walkie who eagerly assisted me with finding another supervisor that did not have his hands full and walked me and my season pass to a place that did have the special purple souvenir cups I needed. All together it took me 2 hours to get my diner pass and a purple souvenir cup.

My young children and I loved this "ride," which is really a bumpy hour-long Jeep trip through a MASSIVE "Jurassic World" type series of enclosures and paddocks. Each car is assigned a tour guide, who talks about the literally thousands of endangered, wild animals that seem to live quite happily here. Tigers, lions and bears are all here - the bears even sprawled in the road, forcing us to wait until he lumbered away. The highlight for my kids was the halfway point at Camp Aventura, where everyone disembarks to see some animals up close, play on a themed playground. Go early - they close before the rest of the park, and they also close if there is inclement weather nearby.

The wait for this ride can be real long! However, it can be totally worth it. It can depend on how quickly your driver and guide push you through the attraction but it has a very nice selection of animals to see and is the only place to see elephants in the Philadelphia area. What was most impressive to me was how many babies this attraction had. These animals are procreating a lot! Which is a great sign of the fact that whatever they are doing here is working and the animals are happy. There is a little Jurassic Park feel when you are going through this as well because you are in these jeeps and big gates are opening and closing behind you.

Rides are good, but the waiting times are terrible, and everything is literally 5-6 times as costly. For example, a small pile of fries and 5 chicken tenders (frozen food) costs 15 dollars. Im not even picky with food but I can definitely tell you that wasnt exactly top quality. So yeah. Please pack food before you go there, as well as some drinks and a fully charged phone and/or friend to keep you busy with the long lines. Two stars for okay-for-a-theme-park cleanliness, terribly high expenses, and no attention to customer service besides the rides. Some of the employees were nice at least.
