I have tried to love this place, but after 3 visits, I just cant make it happen. The 1st time, we saw a great musical artist, but the venue is so small that it was standing room only at the bar. From that place in the room, the din of the front door, the bar noise, & the patrons talking all served to effectively drown out the performer. The second time we went for the Valentines Day show which was advertised as a comedy show with a band to follow. This time we arrived 2 hrs early in order to get a good seat, only to find out the doors were not open until 30 min later than advertised, and that all table/chairs had been reserved as VIP seating. They were all pushed to the sides of the room in order to. We got 2 backless bar stools at the bar & ordered food while waiting for the show. I was really looking forward to this, as they serve 100% grass fed, local beef, & Im all about that. Alas, I was disappointed on that score, as well. There was absolutely no seasoning or salt used on the beef, and the bun compeletly was almost twice as big as the burger. Grass fed beef is drier than corn fed & has to have fat added or be cooked in something like butter, but this chef obviuosly isnt aware of this. The soup was flavorful, but barely warm. When the show started, we couldnt hear anything the 1st "comedian" said, thanks to the sound of ice being dumped out of huge buckets & the wall to wall people talking over the din. (Could someone please explain why anyone pays good $ to see a live show, and then does nothing but talk through the whole thing?!). The 1st guy was on about 15 min, & then the 2nd, who actually seemed pretty funny, had maybe 30 min. I figured the 3rd artist, who was billed along with the comedians, would get a good hour or so. Turns out he wasnt a comedian, but a singer. I think he sang 3 or 4 songs, & then the band came out. By this time, I was so dissapointed and tired of sitting with no support for my back, that we just left. Finally, after remembering that I had a Groupon for food, we decided to give it another try and got carry out burgers and fries. Again, the burger was way too small for the bun & totally bland; the fries had not a bit of salt and were almost burned. I am done giving this place the benefit of the doubt, & will not spend anymore $ here. If I want burgers, Ill go to Crave or Honest Abes (not grass-fed, but totally the best burgers & fries in the state.) Sorry Vega, I must break up with you.

Our group of 12 arrived at 8 expecting the band to start at 9 as advertised. At 9 we found out that the band would not start until after the game was over. We paid for 3 VIP tables are $75 each to watch the band, not the game. The service was horrible, our waitress did not come to the table until 9:15, until then we got our own drinks from the bar. Tables come with drink tickets when you purchase a VIP table; however, the tickets will not cover the cost of a beer. When we complained to the staff the first time, they were rude and did not want to make any adjustment of price. They stated that the band not starting until after the game was advertised until my wife said she had the table receipt which shows the start time of 9. My wife had reserved 2 of the tables and another couple had reserved the other. They then said they would refund the table price minus the drink tickets and we would have to pay a cover charge. When the couple that reserved the other table went to talk to the staff about a refund, a short shaved head bearded "man" joined the conversation. They were talking for quite some time and several people from our table went to see what was going on, my wife and myself included. The rest of our group was unhappy about having to pay a cover charge, especially after the poor service and have half of our group walking in 5 minutes after the first half, without receipts for VIP tables and only being asked for ID, no cover charge. We also observed others who entered without paying a cover. When my wife stated others had gotten in without a cover the little man said "thats not true". I called his BS and was quite angry that little man called my wife a liar. My wife and I left at that point. We heard from the rest of the group that they were going to refund table price minus drink tickets and not charge a cover. This is to occur through the vendor where the table reservations were made. I hold little hope that this will actually occur based on the observed incompetence of the staff. They care nothing about the purpose for which the business exists, serving customers. Maybe they will get lucky and John Taffer will take pity on this place and perform a bar rescue. Until then, if you are looking for a place that specializes in false advertising, poor service and snotty attitudes, this is your place. I would rate the place at 0, but the scale is 1 to 5.

Awesome artists come to this venue every now and then. And this venue absolutely ruins it. The staff Is absolute garbage. Never would come to a show here or reccomend it unless you really really love the artist. But beware dont bump into anyone when you dance. Dont spill a single drop of your drink or expect to be kicked out. Sober or not. Staff has a HUGE ego.

Intimate music venue that also serves "gourmet" hot dogs and burgers. The burgers and dogs are pick your own topping with no predetermined options available. The food was good but the burgers were dry. Prices for food and drinks are reasonable for what you get. Overall a decent addition to the Lincoln music scene.

I was really unsure about Vega but my friends had really wanted me to accompany them to a show there. When I got there I was still a little uneasy, but the bartenders were so helpful, especially the dark curly haired girl, I think her name was Jessica. Super great experience and a great stage for live music.

Attended the Eve 6 concert and had a blast. Annoyingly, the air conditioner was not working or not working well. Even the lead singer commented on it being the hottest show so far this year. Cool small venue and great sound. Just fix the A/C :)

Amazing atmosphere and high quality entertainment. I was there for an open mic night and was amazed by the talent of the people on stage. They also offer a good variety of drinks at affordable prices.

This neat little bar with reserved for an awards ceremony. It worked out well for that. Im sure its very busy during the bar scene at night down in the Entertainment District.

Trendy post college crowd usually. Great place to catch a band you never heard of, which usually turns out for good entertainment.

I didnt really care for this place. The acustics for bands in my opinion were horrible. The seating wasnt all that great.

Fun to see local and bigger name bands play here but the venue is small and wish it was bigger. Drinks are overpriced.
