I have always passed by this theater and never gone in. Today I went in. It is beautiful inside. The seats are around the stage. I was thinking that this could be an inconvenience especially when you are seeing people back it it turned out great. There was no time that I felt that I was watching the actors backs for too long. They were moving most of the time giving the audience a full view of the show. The show tonight was amazing. Murder in the Nile was the name of the show by Agatha Christie.

Theatre in the Round offers a unique in-person entertainment experience. The two most recent shows I have seen there were both of a very high quality. The proscenium is "round" -- it goes around 360 degrees. The theater is accessible, and has good restaurant/bars nearby, and parking is not too difficult. Even the snack bar inside the theater is welcoming and the design of the theater house invites interaction.

This is one of the coolest theatres in Minneapolis. Seating is around the stage which sits in the center. Acting and production values are typically very good for a relatively small, and ammeture theatre company. Its also one of the longest running theatre companies in the twin cities.

I have been a season ticket holder for 20+ years. TRP is an outstanding venue for interpreting both the old favorites and new productions in the Twin Cities. I cant imagine following theater in Minnesota without including TRP!

Waited outside for my partner to get out of the restaurant next door after a show, the lady put a tire boot on my car within 2 mins of waiting. Crazy people watch out for parking on the side or even "waiting"

Tickets are cheap, shows are good. Mostly plays, which is a welcome change from the nonstop musicals at other theaters. Easy to get tickets the same week as the show.

Saw Deathtrap. Liked the intimate experience. Good performance at an affordable theater with some history. Brought my kids (13 & 15) and they both enjoyed it.

The plays are very entertaining. The actors do a great job of acting out their parts. It is fun to see how they will do the sets for the different shows....

An intimate venue to see a play and there are no bad seats in the house. Located along Cedar Avenue on the West Bank.

Works as a good fringe venue for small plays. The parking lot directly across Cedar Ave is $4 all night after 4PM.

One of my favorite theaters. Old seats, columns block some views, but the 360 seating is emersive.

The oldest theater in Minneapolis, and a great place to catch a casual, in-the-round show.
