We went to see the show Wicked and had seats on the second row in the orchestra section seat 28 and 29. When we purchased the seats it DID NOT say that our view may be obstructed by wheelchair. We paid 129.00 for each seat and showed up to find that we could not see because of a very large person in a wheelchair that sits high above the rest of the normal chair was in front of us. When we talked to the person who was over the performing arts hall about this problem, he was very rude and would not give us the opportunity to even discuss this issue. All we asked was that the person be moved down to the end to not block the view from those behind. We were not the only couple who had the problem. The problem I had was that the ticket and time of purchase did not have any indication that this could be an issue and when you print out the ticket it just gives you a flag. After reading the flag I called the Hammons Hall and was told that our view would not be obstructed in any way and not to worry about it. Juanita K Hammons Hall of Performing Arts is poorly run and with rude managers. The show itself was great from what I could see. We will never again attend this location and will discourage everyone from this place.

Juanita K. brings numerous plays and concert to Springfield. Their facility is always clean and well kept, including the bathrooms. Parking isnt bad as it is located next to a large parking garage. The variety of shows offered is nice. Just this month I took my children to see Daniel Tigers Neighborhood Live and then a week later went to the Steven Curtis Chapman/Third Day concert. The sound is great and for the most part wherever you are sitting you have a decent view.

For Broadway tour shows, symphonic performances, and other cultural events, this is the premier venue in Springfield. Parking is easy. The environment is well maintained and quite spacious. Without Juanita K. the culture in Springfield would be seriously diminished and we are lucky to have it here.

I have been to a few shows here and have always been greeted with friendly, knowledgeable people from the entrance to the seating attendants. Add in great shows and sparkling bathrooms and it really is the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening of entertainment.

This is a beautiful venue for the arts. I have been to concerts and plays here. The last one i went to see was Wicked. The only downside is that it is on the Missouri State University campus so parking means that you have to park and walk.

I live the shows they put on here. The pricing is a bit high for good seats, but if youre a student you can get cheaper nose-bleed seats the day of the performance. Complaints would be limited parking and the womens restroom situation.

Saw wicked there, loved the building and setting. Biggest complaint would be parking. If school is in session give yourself at least 20 minutes to find a place to park and walk. I ended up jogging a little over half a mile.

The fact that we have a place like this in Springfield, Missouri still amazes me. Hardly a bad seat in the place, even the far balcony seats enjoy a great view of any production being presented.

It is a beautiful facility with easy convenient parking. It is a big hall, so if you want a good seat, pay for top tier tickets. Otherwise, you may feel too far from the action.

Very nice facility. Seats are a bit outdated but not super uncomfortable. We saw the symphony Christmas special and it was great!
