Play this course all the time. This course has come a long way in the past 5 years. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. They cater towards veterans, active service members and first responders. Prices are great during off time as well as the busiest time off the year. The 9th and 10th holes get some newer visitors confused sometimes but play it once and ya know better next time. If your a wildlife lover you see deer, turkey, eagles and the occasional coyote on the course. Hole 3 is challenging. Hole 5 is tough as well. The greens are in great shape and the course is kept very clean. This is a non profit course so some upkeep suffers just a very little bit but not enough to dampen your experience. I recommend this course to all. The clubhouse is open for weddings as well as all other types of events. Hot air balloons land near here which always make it interesting

For starters the owner (the redhead) informed my friend and I that we were not allowed to have 6 beers each for 9 holes of play. She was kind of angry about it and honestly, we almost left. When I asked to buy golf balls she had old balls that were donated; We all appreciate a good cause however, I would have gladly paid $20 for a new set of golf balls. The course was overgrown with weeds and clover and the cart paths were falling apart and had spray paint pointing to the hole. Honestly the place was just beat down and busted! To top it all off she had someone come check on us to make sure we were not having too good of a time... Sigh..... What a disappointment.

Received a voucher to play golf, called the day before and confirmed the tee time. After driving an hour, get up the entrance and it has chains up. I called the club house they tell they are closed, and sorry you drove so far, and then told me I had the wrong course and noone took my tee time. With no sympathy or compensation, just hung up!!!!!! They say it is under new management, well customer service would be the first place I would fix. Ended up going to Sugar Creek, very nice course with unique elevation.

Really beautiful course at a reasonable price. Be warned if -like myself- you are a long hitter who likes wide-open fairways that this is a challenging course and out of bounds is REALLY out of bounds, rather than just being the next fairway over, so bring extra balls. The carts are nice and have their own ball washer attached. The people are super-friendly unlike other courses where people are either just snobby or jerks or both. Great discount if you are a veteran or first responder!

Had a fantastic experience here when I played the course last month. The course on a Saturday was almost empty. everything was very well trimmed and maintained. A storm came in and the owner met with us and spoke with us about all the events that they are trying to do with veterans and in support of veterans. This immediately convinced me that I would be back. The course is narrow but adds the right amount of difficulty for the recreational golfer like myself.

We played here in early 2007 and I believe new ownership had just taken over at that time. It was in poor condition but you could tell the course had potential. We have played twice this year and it is improving significantly. Would recommend it to anyone in the STL metro area as it is a strongly above avg value.

Just finished 18 holes, and I have never seen the course this good. Greens were all good and Zosia fairways were great. Staff is very friendly and good pace of play. Ive played there off and on for 10+ years. Not a long course, but challenging. I hope they can keep it going, because they do a lot for veterans.

Cheap maintenance, ran by a weird woman who thinks she has what it takes to run a golf course

Greens are in good shape. The course can play a little tight but its a fun 18.
