This place is pretty big compared to other wineries. $5 per tasting for 8 tastings of 1/2 oz each. Honestly, I think that is too many wines to taste in a short amount of time unless youre studying to become a master sommelier. This place has a few cats roaming around but people seemed to enjoy this. They arent overwhelming and they dont bother you. I also didnt experience any cat-like smells like other reviewers. The Trolley comes here if that is your mode of transportation. If you like Missouri wines then this is your place but otherwise the choices are slim.

Their new policy of charging $5.00 (each) for tasting is simply greed. We do not need to pay them for the privilege of deciding what of their products we are going to buy. We selected several bottles of wine to take home from Hermann that day, but none from Adam Puchta. This policy is not consistent with the ambience of the town. None of the other wineries in Hermann charged for tasting that day. I don’t normally write bad reviews, but when the server hit us with the five dollar thing, we were offended and we just left.

Looks mean no difference to me when tasting wine. I love the quaint room you have the wine tasting in and the person helping you is absolutely wonderful and friendly. The best wine tasting experience one could ask for, even give you little snacks to try with he kinds of wine you are tasting that go along wonderfully with the wine! I will keep going back again and again!!!

We visit every year for your grill-your-own-steak nights. Its an enjoyable evening surrounded by friendly workers and fellow grilling customers. The addition of live music this year was a pleasant addition! Would really enjoy an acoustic guitar player to match the outdoor ambience and relaxed setting if you know of any. We plan to return each month for steak night!

By far!!!!! the best winery in Hermann. Our hostess, I wish I got her name (short/medium dark hair), provided such a wonderful experience. Whereas the other wine tasting facilities offered only wine with minimal explanation, Adam Puchta gave us tastes of crackers or cookies, foods that bring out the fullest flavor of each wine. Highly recommend.

This winery is full of cats and the inside of the winery smells like cats. To add insult to injury, they charge $5 for tasting of five wines. The tastings are so small that if added together would equal to maybe 4 oz. They have a very friendly service but the whole "cat shelter" scene made me not want to come back to this winery ever again.

Im not a wine drinker, so they never had a chance at 5 stars. The ladies working the single-drink concession stand were pretty friendly, but the prices are kind of high. Its a neat little place, though. My wife was really excited about all the cats supposedly on property, but we only saw two. Maybe it was too hot?

It may seem like a deal to be getting 8 wine tastings for $5, but these are the smallest portions of all the wineries and barely enough for one sip (and not enough to get a good feel for the wine). The pro about this winery is that there is a lot of space and it can accommodate a lot of people.

Their wine is the best Ive had from the grapes grown in the midwest. Their venue is not as scenic as other wineries in Hermann, but their wine more than makes up for it. If youre looking for quality wine in the area, this is where you should invest the bulk of your time and money.

The wines were all good. I didnt care for the dehydrated biscuits. They seemed to take away from the wines more than help them. Maybe some good old fashioned cheese and crackers would be in order. $$$ for tasting. Yet another large winery that needs to charge for tastings.

The oldest vineyard in Missouri and probably the best wine. Staff is very sociable but the facilities lack some luster. Come here to see what kind of wine Missouri is capable of producing.

Missouris oldest winery, Adam Puchta is located in the countryside outside of Hermann. You get 8 small tastings for $5. Its not a great deal, but they do let you revisit wines.

Great wine, great people. We went to the Eclipse party, and they were just wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back for more events in the future!

Best wine in Missouri! Its not the most posh winery in the world, but you wont be disappointed with the product.

Adams Choice is a Favorite! Misty Valley is even better. Can find some bottles in KC area HY VEE.

Some decent wines, but most lack complexity or sophistication of flavor. Friendly folks, though!

This place knows how to do it up right. Had a great time on the chocolate wine trail.

Fines are above average, but it is strange each one with a cracker...
