This was our first time here. I wasnt sure how the set up was. We wanted a bottle of wine to go with some food but were not sure how to sample what we wanted. I was wearing a cardinal shirt and blue jeans as it was a spur of the moment decision to try it. We finally were approached at the bar and it was two free samples or 10 dollar to try them all . I paid the 20 for me and my wife to try them all but she was hungry so we were going to need food too. The first glass was a big glass of the family wine which was ok but my wife was needing to get food in her so we drank it pretty quick and proceeded to sample more of the wines but now were smaller samples. After 4 tasteings our server ignored us and went to other people. The next lady came to us with the next sample and I told her we would like to order food., she said normally you dont break away from the sampleing but said it would be ok. We ordered the Asian nachos and continued with the samples. The food was ready by the time we had only one sample left. The food was served in a cardboard box that i thought was strange but it was our first time here. I went up and got the last sample as we finished the nachos and then no one ever returned to ask us what we wanted. We sat with empty glasses for awhile then I went to the lady to rinse our glasses and we were going to buy a bottle and walk the grounds. The lady skipped me and attended to the other close by patrons,.i returned to our table and waited for my wife to return from the bathroom . Then I saw another table receive their nachos on a nice platter with nice dishes. I realized maybe we didnt appear to be good tippers with my cardinal shirt and jeans with my wind blown hair but they couldnt have been more wrong. We ended up leaving with out the 22 dollar bottle of wine I was going to buy and with out paying for the nachos served in a cardboard box because we never got a check or the time of day. We will probably give it another chance but we laughed about how snooty they were and how they treated us but maybe they were cubs fans. Moral of the story , dont judge a book by the cover ,.i over tip and planned on spending a lot more but thank you for the free nachos , you can keep the cardboard box.

Had reservations - was a beautiful atmosphere, beautiful place. The food was worse than eating at an Applebees ( frozen not fresh) I ordered the shrimp pasta . The pasta was very cold the tast was mediocre at best , the shrimp was so tough I am sure a 10 year old knows not to overcook and how to cook shrimp. The dessert Hanks cheesecake tasted so old and so freezer burnt if I were Hanks I would stop allowing them to sell the cheesecakes as it does no service to Hanks. We were a party of 8 and there were much larger parties. Our server was very nice but inexperienced did not know the wine selection ; forgot my order 4 times ; overcharged us; promised to take of 20% of our appetizer because she forgot to order it ( and then never did ) and apologize for her mistakes more than 8 times because she needed to. The only enjoyable thing was the wine slushy and the company ! Please watch out if this is a special occasion each couple paid a minimum of 80$ and it was at best a 30$ meal. We will never go back unless we have to go with another group and we will be sure to eat ahead of time.

We made reservations for brunch today and they had our table ready and thats as good as it gets. The food was something you could get off of a buffet at the golden coral. Our waiter never told us his name, left our drinks and never came back. Went out to listen to the band which was ok. We decided to try the grill since our brunch was terrible. Ordered burnt ends and Asian nachos....Our at least I thought I did. They were supposed to have fried wontons and chicken after a 1 hour wait we received a messy box of burnt ends and Asian nachos with tortilla chips and NO chicken. I asked to speak to a manger and I was told "the manager is not available" and that they were taking the nachos off of the menu... didnt ask if i wanted it replaced. So 2 bottles of wine, 2 meals, 2 glasses and $200 for 2 people for 4 hours Im not sure the food is worth it. We will eat dinner somewhere else if we go back. The weather was gorgeous so they get 2 stars.

My family and I drove down from Indianapolis IN to celebrate my cousins 50th birthday. We rented a party bus to drive an hour to the winery. Once arriving when where told they could not find our reservation. The man who we was told was over admissions was VERY rude and inconsiderate. Implying that we were lying about our reservation because they dont sell party platter(which they do). We was told he wouldnt accommodate us because my cousin must be drunk(not true she doesnt drink). We stood outside the winery for 45 minutes trying to get this figured out. Once we talked to another person on the phone. We figured it out. He never apologize. The ladies inside the winery were great Taylor hosted our table and Sara from behind the bar!!! Make the experience better...please make sure you dot all your I and cross all your T before going there..

Fathers Day Brunch was disappointing. First, the ad for the event featured a pictures of ribs, however fathers were served hot dogs, chicken, strips, and pork steak. The free drinks were very weak, watery and tasteless. In addition, we were seated in the new Barrel Room at tables too large for our party of five which created a big gap in our interaction and conversations. The physical space between our party at the over-sized tables and the echos from the noise of other conversations, children playing, and the musicians made this experience a complete loss for our brunch. Although, It is great to see the company grow, the event experience at Fathers Day will keep our family from making this venue an option when meeting friends and family for dinner or drinks.

Horrible service and horrible food. Very disappointed. They couldnt find our reservation, luckily it wasnt busy. Waited awhile before the trainee came and took our drink order (he was the only good thing) the the waitress came over (not kidding) 40 minutes after being seated to take our drink order. We order med well prime rib, came out well done, didnt get the potatoes, finally got dried up 10 pieces of potatoes, 3 asparagus spears. Moscato was great. My sister ordered a certain bottle of wine to go, the waitress gave us he wrong bottle, waited another 25 mins before she came back. Finally got the correct bottle of wine and she was going to walk away again but we stopped her (we didnt want to wait another 30 mins or so to pay). Will never eat there again.

NOT Family Friendly. After visiting several other wineries in the area, when we went into this one, we were asked to leave, because we had a 3 month old with us, and "Under our insurance policy, all patrons must be 21." I doubt my 3 month old was going to be a patron that day. Very disappointed, and frankly, nonsensical. Even if that was the policy of their particular insurance company (either ALL the other wineries had different insurance policies, or are smart enough to know that babies are not patrons), surely there has to be a "common sense" rule that clearly these folks dont abide by. No worries though, I advise young families to go to every other winery in the area except this one.
