I must say, I was really surprised to see the previous review of The Blue Rose, especially regarding Ginger. First of all, I was born and raised on the MS Gulf Coast and have ALWAYS heard wonderful things about The Blue Rose and the staff there. So when I got engaged, I knew that I wanted to have my wedding reception there. I had a year-long engagement, and once I booked The Blue Rose, I felt an incredible relief and sense of calm from Ginger and the rest of the crew. During my engagement, I was in graduate school, lived four hours away, and stayed completely busy with school. I was so worried that I would not be able to get anything accomplished for my reception. That was NOT the case. Ginger and the staff at The Blue Rose were AMAZING and helped me through all of my sudden crisis moments. Everything, and I mean everything, that I asked for the staff to help me with was done right away and with such a pleasant attitude. They made me feel like family. I actually still keep in touch with the staff there and each and every one of them remembers mine, and my husbands, name and are so excited to greet us! I wanted to leave this review so that anyone who is looking to have a stress-free wedding will know that these guys take care of it all for you. Both of my parents thanked me for choosing The Blue Rose as my reception venue becasue they are all-inclusive and my parents had no stress. I have two older sisters who are married, and their weddings were a lot of work for my parents. For my wedding, they had a great time and even commented on how much fun they had because they had absolutely no worries. So, if you are looking for a great group of people that treat you like family and know what they are doing, then please consider The Blue Rose. You will not regret it. Their food is great, their staff is great, the house is gorgeous, and you will feel so at ease on your special day. I also recommend using Theresa, a member of The Blue Rose staff, to do your wedding cake. She did an absolutely great job on my cake and I still get so many compliments on it a year later! Again, dont let one angry, impulsive, and inaccurate review keep you from checking out The Blue Rose. Give Ginger a call and I promise you will see what I mean about feeling like family. Also, today is my husband and Is one year wedding anniversary and we have already been contacted by The Blue Rose staff who congratulated us and wished us many more happy years together... you really cant find nicer people anywhere!!

I cant speak for the reception hall its self because i never made it past ginger who is suppose to be there wedding contact person. she wanted me to call her and when i said i was out of state and asked her to email me or mail me the info she told me they were currently booked with out even asking when the date was for. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, I DON"T THINK SO. well all i have to say is that Im a customerservice manager in Louisiana and when some one contacts us we usually try to accomadate them. The custmer is the one paying and a email request is common we are in the year 2011. well its best that this happened at the begininng because if the planner is like this I cant imagine what the rest of the staff is like.

The experience at the Blue Rose was amazing in every way. Herbie, Lisa, and the rest of the Blue Rose staff ensure that the experience will be memorable. The food was delicious and the venue was beautiful. Words cant describe how amazing Lisa is at ensuring that the wedding will be wonderful. My advice, if youre undecided on what venue you want for your wedding, choose the Blue Rose. You will not regret it!

We are so happy and thankful that we had our wedding at the Blue Rose! It is a beautiful venue, the staff is amazing, and the food was delicious! Lisa was fabulous at making sure everything went smoothly and taking care of all our needs.
