Just got done with some twilight play, there was some light rain and he told us to play at our own risk which we were fine with. We play nine holes and the weather seemed to be getting even better than the already light conditions so we thought we could at least get in 6 more holes and started on the next nine when we are approached by the manager of the course. He tells us to wrap up our game and left. There was still a good amount of light so we were confused why we were being told to leave so early. We ask the manager why we were asked to finish up our game so early and he was by far the most confrontational person we have ever dealt with. After trying some made up reason that we were breaking rules, which we werent and he admitted we werent, he tells us it is because he wanted to close up. So paying customers got asked to leave early because he wanted to have an early day. This was a terrible experience and I am extremely unsatisfied with the professionalism that the manager exhibited. Please try to teach your management a little customer service and not lie so he can have a short day.

We went for a game of twilight play and after we got finished with our first nine we headed to start on the other nine. On the first hole the manager came out and told us we had to wrap up our game and headed back to the club house. We were very confused because there was plenty of light to still get in 5-6 more holes. When we went up to ask him why he made up some fake accusations about us breaking rules which he took back immediately after we told him we didnt. He was just trying to have a valid reason to kick us out. He then said that he wanted to close up. So we got told to leave the course that we paid to be on because the manager wanted to have an early day off. This was by far the worst customer service we have ever had. He never tried to give a valid reason and was extremely confrontational to the point where he was arguing with us. If this is how you treat your customers you should not be in a management position or any position at all.

There is very little tree cover on the course and plenty of long grass to lose your balls in. If there is any wind, it will whip right through the course since there are few trees to stop it. Overall, it is a challenging course with some narrow fairways. If that is what you are looking for, than I would recommend Gopher Hills. However, if you are looking to golf in an area with more scenery, wildlife, and breaks from the sun and wind, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Walking is not recommended. Very steep and up-and-down rolling hills. Affordable price. Kind of cold when playing during the October Month. Like to price.

Really fun place! Best bloody Marys ever. Friendly staff and great food. Very nice venue for banquets and receptions. Golfing is super there too.
