A gem of a Par 3 course, well maintained by the City of Burnsville. It is a rolling terrain, so involves short hikes up hills to get to the tee boxes on holes 5, 8 and 9. One finds flowers blooming throughout, with particular fragrance walking between the roses to the second tee box. There are a few long fairways that May call for a driver, but great place to refine your short game.

Ive played Birnamwood over 100 times, it is by far the best place for a young or new golfer to learn to play. Staff is always excellent and the course is well respected. Also a great place to warmup for an 18 as it takes about 1.5 hours to play through!

I have loved this place since I was a kid. It is well maintained, better then it used to be anyways. One of the best places you can bring your kid to learn the game of golf!

A very well kept small course. It is a great course for beginners and intermediate players working on their short game. Easy to walk, lots of gardens and a nice value.

It is well kept up, and has its own kids league! It is a relatively easy par 3 and has just 9 holes. The service is good and its not too spendy.
