THIS GOLF COURSE IS NOT THE LONGEST IN G.R BUT I WILL SAY IT IS ALWAYS IN GREAT SHAPE.....THE GREEENS ARE USUALLY PRETTY FAST AND THE FAIRWAYS ARE ALWAYS EMACULATE WHEATHER IT BE MARCH OR OCTOBER,,,, CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE CLASS OF THE STAFF FROM MIKE B. & MICHELLE TO THE GROUNDS CREW....ALWAYS MAKING YOUR EXPERIANCE AS GOOD AS POSSIBLE. MIKE RUNS EXCELLENT OUTINGS ALSO IF YOU HAVENT BEEN THERE FOR ONE CALL AND FIND OUT WHEN THEY ARE LIKE CHUBBYS,MONELLIES,AND THE BENEFIT ONES WHERE THE PINES TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN GIVING BACK....... I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND PLAYING IT A COUPLE TIMES AND YOULL UNDERSTAND WHAT IM SAYING.... I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER ON AND OFF FOR 30 YRS AND PLAYED ON 20 LEAGUES THRU THE YRS......

Just called there and asked if they had any tee times for today before 2. His answer was "nope" in a very condescending tone. Didnt say anything else, just nope. For a very average course, you should really consider treating your customers with some respect and maybe even try being nice. I live right down the road in Byron Center but Ill just take my frequent golf business to Maple Hill and Ironwood. Unfortunately, the lack of personable treatment there is pretty common there.

The Pines Golf Course is the perfect place for beginners to execellent golfers. The First Nine are Nice and Easy, but the back Nine are more challenging. I personally like to go with my friends, and My Grandpa Likes to take me out golfing and this is the perfect place. All the people there are nice. Theres a driving range, and practice putting greens. (The Greens at the Pines run very fast) Its a great place for golfers to go out and golf and have fun.

I am giving this a 5 star rating for its value and service. It is a very well kept course. It isnt very challenging, but it is great for novice golfers like myself. $18-$24 for 18 with a cart is a steal. No bugs and wide fairways. Overall a great place to golf, especially for the money.

The course does not play nearly as long as the scorecard indicates. If you want something challenging there are a few other better courses in the area. Also the play was incredibly slow and there were no rangers around to keep the pace of play moving.

The back 9 is absolutely gorgeous. Lots of different type holes.. maitiance is 5 star .. staff is great. Wonderfull place to golf.. only reason I gave 4 vs 5 star is due to the front 9 being shorter and to me more plain.

$34 to play 18 so I cant complain about the condition of the course. If you are looking to have a good time and not lose a lot of balls this is the course for you. The back 9 is much better than the front.

Come here for the driving range as it is close to work. Staff are friendly, if you use the punch card the 10th large range bucket gets you a free bucket, so thats nice.

Local Fave! Great to see Mike has continues to keep this jewel in great conditon! Range and putting green in excellent shape! Fun golf without the long drive.

I had left something behind after my round and the staff let me take a cart out to find it, played the back 9 and was very impressed. Definitely coming back

I enjoy this golf course. It is well maintained and manicured. Greens are normally in great shape and always challenging.

Reasonable price, well maintained, some holes are a little tight with the roads or houses but overall its a nice course.

Its what you expect a cheap, short course to be like. Back nine is much more fun and interesting than front nine.
