While it is a nice course, their staff SUCKS! I have tried repeatedly to call for tee times after 8:00 am with NOBODY answering the PRO SHOP phone. First time they did call me back, but now I get no response. I was advised to just drive on out as they apparently dont staff their pro shop. What an economical idea! Just drive around looking for open golf. Seems like if they were interested in business, they would at least have someone manning the phones. There are SO MANY nice golf courses in this area I wouldnt waste your time trying to contact these people. Grand Rapids golf course is just as nice, just as cheap, & there really are people there to assist you!

Played Sunday November 7th, 2016. In reality the course shouldve been closed. Terrible condition, wet is an understatement. And dont get me started on the leaves. The man behind the counter did say that it was to wet to get the machines out to cut grass , blow leaves, ect. But they were still charging $20 to play. Completely Unexceptable. the course needs major work. I can say for a certainty that I wont be going back. They can keep the half dozen balls that I lost in the fairway. Go down the road a bit and play Gracewil. Or just smack a dozen balls into the woods and save yourself the frustration and the money.

First time playing the course today with a buddy. Course was in good shape and had a good layout. Greens were super slow. Now to the bad we got through nine stopped to use the restroom then the owner or whoever he is came out and said we were done even though we paid for 18. All because he wanted to go home. He was very rude and proceeded to tell my friend we play slow. He gave us a rain check for 9 holes but I would have rather had my money back for the holes in didnt play. Needless to say after I play my rain check I wont be returning to this course

The "owner" is extremely rude. He claims he is the owner but not sure if he doesnt want me to talk to his superior. Hard to enjoy golfing when youre being yelled at by the staff because they want to go home even though you finish your round 45 min before dark. Prices arent good for the shape of the course.

The course was in good shape and was not too crowded on a Friday morning. There was no grill or any hot food available in the clubhouse. The clubhouse did not have a pro shop. There was beer available to purchase, but the only food was some chips, candy bars, and trail mix.

Fun course! Beautiful scenery. It is so nice to golf where you dont see anyone until you get back to the clubhouse,.

The course isnt boring, is in good shape and is affordable. English Hills was an overall enjoyable experience.

This course was not well kept. I was put behind a large group, it took 45 min to tee off at the first hole.

very affordable, but you get what you pay for. excellent to keep from getting rusty between weekends.
