Course was in excellent condition. Challenging from a distance standpoint, but expected that going in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend either getting a yardage book or having a rangefinder. Yardage measurements on the course are hard to find except for the 200, 150 & 100 yard markers. And none of the par 3 tee boxes had a yardage market that I could find. That is really the only thing keeping me from giving this a 5 star rating. The free mango scented ice towels were a nice perk and a must have. I will definitely be back to play again.

Ive played 9 courses from Pensacola to Panama City Beach, and by FAR, Windswept Dunes is my favorite course. The course is beautiful to the eye, and easy on the handicap for someone like myself who sometimes tends to hit an occasional fade.... Fairways are wide and greens are huge, and the course tends to be very serene and quiet... Do yourself a favor and leave the expensive courses of Destin to the rich guys with money to burn. This course beats them all, and leaves some $$$ in your pocket to enjoy a nice dinner after the sun goes down.

This is one of the best courses in the panhandle. Every hole feels like you are alone on the course. Beautiful greens and fairways! The GPS carts are sweet and accurate. I love to play this course and make it a yearly trip from Wisconsin to do so. It is not crowded and the people who work there are super friendly and polite. We are looking to buy a second home at Windswept Estates to retire. You cannot beat the price or beauty anywhere in Florida.

This course is a great find! The practice facility was great! Real grass on the range! They need a few more targets on the range but still great. Putting green and chipping area is pga caliber. The course and layout is absolutely beautiful. The fairways were in great shape! Greens rolled true. The only thing I would recommend is to improve the food not that it wasnt good but it could be better. I would definitely come back!

Hidden gem comes to mind when I think of how nice this course was. I also played Kelly Plantation during my trip to Destin and would prefer this course over it 9 rounds out of 10. The entire course was in great shape and the price is just right ($74 for out of towners anytime versus $100+ for most of the nice courses in Destin). Definitely add this to your list if youre playing in the Destin area.

My review would have two points...first great golf course, very well maintained and great greens. Second staff at the club house just down right rude. They advertise a local military rate to which in brought adiquiate proof of but than refused to honor that. Now thats fine there is always misunderstanding but than the person went on to be a jerk about it...still a solid track through

Very beautiful and iron friendly fairways, with large rolling greens. Multiple hazards (lots of sand and some water) throughout, so sacrificing distance for straighter shooting clubs, combined with smart layups made it a very enjoyable experience for me. Wish I had a course this nice at this price point back home!

This is a fantastic place to play golf. I should have played it years ago. What looked like a long driver from the beach only took 30 minutes. From the employees, to the owner and the club members they treated my as one of there best friends. I will be back to play golf with my new friends. Peter Cannon

I have played this course many times, and never had any problems with anything. the course is fast but wide open and any level of player can play this course, never had to hurry or felt I was being push. Great GPS on the cart. Travel 25 miles just to play this course.

Great course, layout was great. Big fairways with big white sand bunkers. Greens were smooth but a little slower than I was expecting, still very good. Price is decent for what you are getting. Would definitely recommend to try though!!! Fun to play!!!

Played today. Great layout and in great shape. Had a couple of brief heavy rain showers. Lots of tees make it playable for everyone, and a fair but challenging course. Staff is very friendly. Will definitely play again.

Very cool golf course. Very quiet and really well laid out. Big greens and wide fairways but lots of big traps as well. We play this course each time we visit the Gulf Coast and I am looking forward to the next round.
