Do not go there...... The manager kid is sooooo rude always, not one single day he was nice to us except the old white guy was always nice bad he should have been the manager. And not only that when we went to play for two and half hrs timed the balls would get stuck and had to go and ask them for ball returns, even then he wouldn't apologize but Gv attitude like we were bugging him. For the horrible service there we stopped going there but we thought too give one last shot and then this as always even worse. And at the end we should have got an extra half hr or a game at least more to play as a complimentary makeup for all the time that was wasted for no ball returns, not even a Sorry. And hr thinks he is running the place great. And thr lanes do not have oil at all. A very little right before the pin. But that I could have lived with if the service wasn't horrible. And one thing more anytym u wanna go there check their website first cause the guy will try to rip u off when u ask him for the rates of open bowling, he will not tell you about thr cheap deals but will mention the privy ones Ofcourse. For example 3 buxs per game but he will leave out 5 bux unlimited games

Bowl in a Monday night league at Universal. Everybody complains about the lack of oil. By the second game I am having to change to my spare ball for my strike ball and use an old plastic ball for spares. By the end of the third game, unless you have a powerful delivery, can lob it past the first 20 to 30 feet, have a ball with almost no counter weight and super slick, or can throw it perfectly straight, it is very difficult to pick up a ten pin for right handers. When I asked about adding some more oil, all I got was something about the USBC sanctioning the lanes. Well all you have to do is have uniform oil (or no oil at all). With all the patterns they use to USBC sport bowling and now on the PBA tour, I dont see how a little more oil would hurt. I makes me want to change houses because I have to struggle in the last game. Although the conditions are equal for all, it is a lot more fun (regardless if you win or lose), if one feels that they dont have to throw the ball like Pete Weber in order to pickup a 10 pin.

After waiting more than 45 minutes for our lane to be fixed, and going to the desk 4 different times to find out when someone was coming to fix the lane, we were told they were basically too busy to help us. The issue was not at all that they were too busy--the issue was that they only had one staff person for the whole alley. Of course, we paid for our lanes by the hour and spent most of our time trying to troubleshoot the broken lane and track down the staff. We will not be returning and recommend you find another alley.

Ive been here 8 times. Once for a birthday, 3 times with my friends, and the other times with my great grandmother. They have a friendly atmosphere and great food. They have every size ball for every size person and I absolutely love the pool tables. My great grandma loves it too, she bowls every Tuesday and adores the management. She says they are very genuine guys and are a pleasure to converse with. I would definetly be here more often if I actually liked bowling, but my great grandma bowls enough for the both of us!!!

If you bowl in a league, avoid this place like plague. Pin setters off spot, inconsistent oil and apathetic staff. Several bowlers down 15-30 pins from last year. Worst part is the ball raffle that they implemented after the 4th week, which is when scores really took a hit because they dump a ton of oil to try to suck you into getting tickets for a new ball. Wont be back next year.

I disagree...these owners have cleaned up this place... & it is very welcoming!! Family owned now,so they are always there working, and are very nice!! My kids and I have been going there for years now and I always recommend this place... Great job to the owners for bring this landmark bowling alley back up to great condition!!!

I went with my best friend to catch up and we had a blast. The staff were great in providing and helping us. Our lane, #13 kept acting up and he moved us to lane #14. The food was decent. And it was 6:30pm when we got there. It was not that busy as its slow in the summer. They also updated a lot since I was last there 2 years ago.

Normally, I dont go out of my way to write good reviews unless Im truly pleased. I have bowled across the country and never have I been to a place where the staff treated you like family. Beautiful bar and lounge area as well. 10 out of 10, hands down, best bowling alley you will find.

The food was terrible the guy that was cooking the food stated that it would take a long time to get food certain food he did not have. The bowling was good but food do not waste ur money. He cooked our chicken strips raw would not give refund. Gave five tacos instead

It was nice enough. The guys behind the counter were nice. My BIG problem with them was the shoes. They were broken down and nasty. The linings were ripped. The soles were cracked. It was enough to make me go elsewhere if I needed to rent shoes again.

I dont know if it was racial or what but they told us it would be a 500 dollar deposit to bowl there I was completely shocked no I would not recommend that place to no one

Worst lanes and stickiest shoes of anywhere I have ever bowled. I think the shoes came with building, in 1964. Stay away!
