Never golfed anywhere like this before. We showed up 10 mins before our tee time at 630 am, my buddy had to use the bathroom so we were pushing it but the guy in the pro shop was immediately rude when I asked about the price of 47 because I didnt expect it to be that expensive. I was fine with the price I just ask if 47 was for all of us or for just one person and he gave me some snotty reply about if we charged 47 for three we couldnt stay open Stupid question ill give him that but it was early, I said ok and paid. When my buddy got out of the bathroom the guy was rushing him. We teed off at 635 so our bad it was busy and we teed off 5 mins late and we let the guys behind us go ahead. On the third hole I was caught off guard when one of the guys in the office came over to us on a cart to let us know that they were tracking us on gps that we were 7 mins behind and we had to speed up our pace. Never heard of that ever happening completely ruined the day for us being rushed. Then as we are walking off the green the group of guys behind us are driving their golf balls at us one landed 15 feet away from us and another flew right by our other golf cart. Maybe we werent the fastest golfers finishing 18 holes in 5-10 mins over 4 hours but no need for what we experienced with the staff or the people that golfed behind us. Worst experience Ive ever had golfing. The funny thing is my dad and uncle have golfed there a lot over the years and love it and I took my dad there for Fathers Day this year. Nice course, mean people.

Played this course twice this year (2015) from the gold tees. Houses do NOT come into play at all (at least for me). The fairways were excellent and the landing zones for driver were fair. The rough could be better, but the soil (clay) didnt give them much to work with. Good risk-reward zones throughout the course. The greens were fast, and well-manicured both times I played it. My 77 might have been a 74 if I wasnt so greedy on a par 5! Only hole I didnt like is that par5 with a blind second shot. Eagle is right out. I think if they get a clubhouse, better asphalt work, and better amenities, they might have a really good venue for outings etc. I had heard all of the previous owner grumblings, but was pleasantly surprised. Ill be back!

the course has new ownership the last two years....the previous owner let the course go to hell...the new owners are in the midst of making this a great course for the money...the geese have been humanly removed ...and the poop situation has been rectified....all of the bunkers have been rebuilt with new sand....the front nine is easier yet interesting...while the back nine is more of a challenge...three brothers now own this course and two of them....yogi and denny bust their butt to make this a great local course...its close to metro airport and a quick getaway for anyone here on business .....

Course is fun yet somewhat challenging and is usually in pretty good condition. Price is fair and the food is decent. My only complaint (and its a big one) is that they dont regulate the pace of play! I live very close to Gateway but I rarely go here. And this is only because on numerous occasions it has taken over 5 hours to play 18 holes. You have to stand and wait every time you take a shot.

Terribly managed golf course. Course is well-maintained, but our foursome was told that we were playing "too fast". The course delayed us 30 minutes at the turn because they put an outing in front of us. Played 2 more holes and walked off the course after seeing 2 foresomes stacked up on every hole. Dont sell tee times when you have an outing at the same time

This is easily the worst-maintained course Ive ever played. They should close it and turn over to a herd of cows. No investment whasoever in weed control. The bunkers are mud holes and the greens are only partially green. The fairways havent been re-seeded in years. Why anyone would ever give this place a second chance is a mystery.

Didnt like the fact that homes are built on the course. Nearly every hole they have the potential to come into play making the round very unnerving. Our group felt very odd playing this course, as it didnt feel much like a naturally built course. Felt like you were playing golf in a housing subdivision.

This course had been revived beautifully! It holds a nice balance between challenging holes and some more forgiving. The houses are never a problem, and the staff is always super awesome! Great course, especially this far into the city!

A real test of golf at a fair price. Any time the weather is above 50 degrees you can get on for about 20 to 25 bucks. Fairways and greens are kept in good shape period its worth the trip

Area the course is crummy. A lot of loud and rude residents that boarder the course. The good side is league play is well organized and I am waiting too long.
