Dont give them your money! Ok. First of all, the new owners are complete cowards that try to hide their mistakes. I was part of a 10-family reservation for this August 2017. We have visited the resort 2 previous times with the previous owners and had a wonderful experience in both instances. We were super excited about our upcoming trip when two months before our scheduled (and 1/2 paid for) trip, we get a call that our reservation is being cancelled because they double booked our weekend. Ok, we all make mistakes. The problem and tragedy occurs when someone makes a mistake and doesnt have the common decency, business ethic or moral to admit the mistake and work to make up for it. We were told that the weekend rate is now significantly increased under the new ownership and I feel 100% confident that we were bumped because another group was charged more and the greed of money was more important than honoring a reservation that was made and partially paid for 10 months prior. So we repeatedly requested to speak with the new owners and they have refused to contact us and instead have forced a gal who I assume to be office staff (Elizabeth) to talk to us and try to smooth things over. Problem is, Elizabeth cant make things right. She is not the owner and although she tried, she was put in an awful situation, again, by the owners who should have been courageous enough to handle it personally. So wee turned to facebook and wrote reviews regarding how we were treated on the Stagecoach stop page. What did the new owners do? Remove the reviews option from the page and block us from posting comments on the wall. Again, cowards who hide. Just know, these are the people you are handing your hard earned money if you go to this resort. They have no respect or decency to own up to a mistake they made and truly work to make it right. Might want to have a back up plan in case they find someone willing to pay more for your weekend because youll be out of luck just as the 10 families like us are. The new owners should truly be ashamed of the way this was handled or rather, NOT handled.

The people who run this place are a complete joke! We had scheduled with the previous owners almost a year in advance and the new owners contacted me a couple weeks ago to tell me our reservation needs to be rescheduled cause apparently a $1000 deposit means absolutely nothing??? The bussiness theu brought with them is obviously more important than honoring a customer who scheduled well before they were the owners. They waited to contact me less than 2 months before our scheduled arrival, for 10 families by the way. When I asked to speak to the owners, Elizabeth told me she told them to call me and they refused. We have came to cowboy creek lodge for two previous years and had a great experience, but I will never do bussiness with the new owners! They did nothing to compensate us for screwing over 10 families who were looking forward to this weekend! I have callled several times asking to speak to the owners and still waiting to receive a call back! Elizabeth also told me we were one of 3 groups this was happening to, so great way to start a bussiness off. Also was promised by Elizabeth on Thursday June 15th that they would over night me a refund check or she would personally drive it to me as I was trying to book for 10 families elsewhere and needed the deposit money, I was also traveling out of town on Friday. Again another lie, they sent the check regular mail, certified and it didnt arrive till Saturday when I was gone. So they not only screwed us out of our trip with them but putting a deposit down on another location! The owners are cowards who dont want to own up to their mistakes and in the end couldnt even compensate us for screwing everyone over!

The owners are extremely nice ! Our bed was comfortable. A little outdated but very cozy. Very spacious rooms and big bathroom with a stand up shower. The owners couldnt stand to see this place go so they bought it and are working hard on it. Rick, is the absolute best ! He accommodated us so well. Would definitely stay here again. $200/weekly rate. The new name of this place is Cowboy Creek Lodge.

Used to go here as a kid with my grandparents and parents. They had a petting zoo, gun fights, blacksmiths, a running saw mill, a cheesy allbeit fun train ride with robbers, and an old time movie theatre. Various shops and an ice cream parlor as well. I am saddened to see it go.

cowboy creek lodge is open ... actual stagecoach stop is closed ... however does make for an interesting theme ... stay the nite in a real ghost town from the wild west

The petting zoo, western gun fight, and other attractions here are now closed. Randys BBQ is an interesting place however.

Very cute nice place. They bought my ponies and we went to visit them. They do a gun show and is a very nice place.
