We went for The NPS hundred year celebration. They had a lot of little tent set up with different things going on demonstrations, gun firing Canon blowing, a day well spent. There is a lot of history there you must check out the inside and see all the things they have, even if you think you know the story behind the park you will still learn a lot! The outside has many signs that tell you about the history and some very nice park benches by the signs.

River Raisin National Battlefield Park is a superb park! This park is growing, both in size and opportunities for the visitors. If you are a history buff, then this will certainly draw your attention! If you are into the outdoors, then the parks growing trail system that is also linked with Sterling State Park will for sure be a point of interest for you! I highly recommend that you stop by and visit SE Michigans only state park!

This a good park we are trying to rebuild French town in a few years to how it was in that time in 1813 in the war of 1812 and dont be harsh or mean about the park we are trying are hardest and we arnt recognized vary much so help us to become a better place and a better national park

A visit doesnt need to be long but it will significantly impact ones understanding of Americas fight for freedom. Anyone who visits Put in Bay on South Bass Island and sees Admiral Perrys monument needs to visit here to appreciate the full story and battle cry.

A very small nation battle site. Not much to see or do. Pretty boring and I am a big history nut. I could not see many people traveling from out of town it see this place theres way to many better places to visit.

Heart broken history. Even though one of the rangers made me felt like i was been discriminated against, but this doesnt make this place a less desired park to visit. Deserve more attention.

Lots of information about the war of 1812. Needs more props , or an battlefield set up of what it would look like. Otherwise its just a onetime thing to see.

Expected a lot more from this place. You can finish your visit in less than an hour, including the presentation about the war that took place centuries ago.

Its always great to have a National Park in your backyard. And the fine folks who run this place are dedicated, knowledgeable, and very friendly.

I need more time to explore the grounds, but the grounds are well kept and the staff very knowledgeable. To be continued, we will visit again.

Nothing interesting happened here, just a place where soldiers came from to fight in the war of 1812

Very nice downtown park. More of a parking lot than park though. Great if you are into Pokémon Go.

It teaches you a lot about Native Americans in Michigan and the Wyandotte tribe.
