The gang and I booked this course through a third party site for golf with a cart for $42. Upon arrival the pro shop attendant let us know the website was misinformed regarding the cart being included and promptly charged us $62, there was no convincing him otherwise. We went to pickup our cart only to find out that they had none left and would need to wait for someone to finish 18 before we could get our cart and start. Our Tee time was delayed 25 minutes because of this and a very slow walking group was let out in front of us because we had no carts. Among other annoyances was a poorly run bar, no food available after 4pm, no driving range and a beverage cart person who never crossed our paths, even though we had a 1:11pm tee time on a Sunday afternoon. The course itself was kept in good condition, however the poor customer service, unprofessional staff and basic operations of the golf course alone will keep me and my group of friends away from this place.

The slowplay reviews didnt apply in our case, however we played on a Friday afternoon with less than desirable weather which could have a lot to do with it. We had many disappointments throughout the day and all would actually have been more tolerable if it hadnt been for the fact that we paid $60 on a weekday to play there. The course is okay, it was not very well kept, the greens werent consistent and the whole vibe there was sort of .... blah There are better course for as much or less $$ in the area that I would choose to play 10 times out of 10. Carts to no have rain hoods, which just seems cheap to me. When we were leaving there were kids (teenagers) hitting a bucket of golf balls into the lake with a baseball bat... not a great image to portray. Im not a very good golfer, nor do I play at any "premier" courses, but Ill find it very hard to retune there and give them my money again.

Played last weekend. I too had arranged teetimes through a 3rd party site which indicated the price included the cart. I was informed by the Pro Shop attendant that the price did not include the cart, it was the walking price. Ended up paying $76.50 (x2) rather than the $54 I thought I would be paying. And as a previous reviewer said there was no convincing the attendant. I contacted both the 3rd party Tee Time site and the course about this. The website has responded and well. Ive heard nothing from the course and do not expect to. The course...was alright. Tee boxes were in horrible shape, greens and fairways were decent for the time of year. The rest rooms mid course are a disaster. Likely will not be going back there.

I went out on my own at 7:45 AM on Monday morning hoping to get a quick 18 in. Not only was I held up for 10 minutes on every tee box due to excrutiatingly slow play from the multiple groups in front of me, but the maintenance staff kept turning the sprinklers on when I was putting. On the 7th hole, I hit a bad shot into the green so pulled out another one as no one was on the tee box behind me yet and hit it to the green. At that point, the maintenance guy that had been turning the sprinklers on as I was walking to each green told me to hurry up because this wasnt a driving range. Ive never had an experience this bad. Dont bother. Go somewhere else.

A fun and a tough course that keeps you thinking the whole way. May not be the longest course, although they have one of the longest holes in the country, but the course design keeps you alert as each hole is anything be straightforward. Par 3s are never an easy shot, par 4s will see you going uphill, over water or around a corner, and par 5s keep you swinging. One of the better public courses in the area, especially if you consider how little it costs to play. Worth the visit.

We just had my daughters wedding here. It was a wonderful experience. Throughout the planning , the planners were very responsive to all our needs. The wedding day, Erin the coordinator made the entire day seamless, from the foods, to the wedding party, the processional. The setting is gorgeous, so many of our guests commented. Our ceremony was outside the reception indoors. It was a wonderful wedding, the venue , staff, and food all terrific.

This course is know for its slow play. 5 hours is common so dont complain. I played last Friday (6-13-08) with a client and it took us a little over 5-1/2 hours. We waited on every t-box. About half the time the we watched the group ahead of the group in front of us drive off as we drove up to the t-box. Bottom line. I cant see my self playing there again until they go to 10 minute t-times.

Brutally slow play!!!! 5 hrs and only got to play 15 holes. Finally gave up and left as I was totally sick of backing up behind the 2 groups in front. Spent most of day sitting in cart, waiting, and watching other groups tee off. Hit a par 3 and you can totally forget it! No control of play out on course and tee times clearly not spread out enough...Never again!!!!

such a good and challenging course! Most fairways are narrow so ball placement is key! The grounds crew keeps the course in great shape and the greens are always pristine! Youll pay a few bucks more here then next door at Stow Acres but I think this is a better course!

My wife and I had our wedding here, and everything was top notch! Extra special acknowledgement to the Staff and Leadership that worked with us from the beginning (considering interest in the venue) to the end ( break down and collection of our materials the next day)!

Played out here last month on a business trip from Boston. The greens were in great shape and overall course conditions were superb. The staff was very friendly and I had a nice burger in the Grille Room after my round. I look forward to coming back again next year.

This is a hidden gem, albeit a VERY tight course. Staff are always friendly, clubhouse facilities are great although the pro shop doesnt hold a lot of inventory. Pace of play here is usually very reasonable and rounds are reasonably priced comparatively.

Unbelievable spot for golf or a wedding. My wife and I attend a wedding here a few years ago and it was an experience not to be forgotten! Golf course is well kept with narrow fairways and lots of woods to lose your ball. Would highly recommend both!

We have had our Tournament there for a number of years, and as always, never a problem, always, professional, helpful and their pricing is very fair too! I would recommend them highly, great course, with great people! Brian B!

Awesome course. The staff is really friendly and the traps were really nice. Had lunch in the bar afterwards and the food was phenomenal, definitely going again.

Tough place to play but in good shape. Have to be accurate and thoughtful with your shots. Greens are large and challenge your lag putting game.

Great layout, the narrow holes make it challenging and fun. Colorful bartender named Paul, and Ed Burns was eye candy.
