Played the course Friday 7/22/2016. This is great course and it is in excellent condition. The only problem here is no water jugs on the course. They said there was two cart girls that were stationed at only one hole each. They did not travel around the course. So my problem is, at 95 degrees and paying over 80 dollars to play I have to buy their water and I can.t find a cart girl. I had my own water bottle and refilled at the turn. The fist time I saw a cart girl was at the 14th hole. My friend bought 4 waters at the turn. So if you play this course in the summer stock up and bring a cooler. Hot weather can be dangerous . Blackstone National is playing with fire with a law suit on hand if someone drops on their course cause of lack of water just because they are too cheap to put water jugs on the course.

One of the most over priced golf courses in the area, hands down. Not only that but the course is generally in poor condition, fairways are dead and greens are beat up. In addition, for the last 3 months I have been trying without success to remove myself from their mailing list, I have even called 3 times and no success, hence, my review. I played there in early May and I called to find out the condition of the course. I was told it was in great shape. BS!!! 1/2 the fairways were dead and some were completely torn up. The majority of the greens were in awful shape! I found the people in the pro shop to be rude and unfriendly. I will never go back and I even bad mouth the course to anyone thinking of going. Youre better off at Highfields or Shining Rock in Northbridge!

Best public course in Massachusetts and only 45 minutes from Boston. Rees jones designed this fabulous track and it shows in so many ways. Every hole is different and challenging in its own right. There is a free driving range (driver friendly) and an awesome resturant with a huge outdoor patio that over looks the 18th green. They serves amazing food and ice cold beer - cocktails, which is always fun after a round with friends. Blackstone National has it all and can be fun for all ages. The staff is top notch, as well, which makes is why it is the best public course in MA and rivals some of the nice private clubs Ive play on the north and south shore. Cant wait to get back to BSN this weekend.

Great course in very good condition. Golf carts are all equipped with GPS, hole location, and pace of play which is a plus. Deducted a star due to the staff, particularly the rangers. One elderly ranger is particularly rude, and decided to criticize our pace of play even though the monitor clearly showed us playing ahead of pace. I also didnt see one beverage cart our last time out, which was very odd.

Blackstone has never looked better! The fairways are lush and the greens are rolling...It has come through the mild winter unscathed and it is playing beautifully. I also enjoyed a superb Easter brunch there and look forward to spending time on the patio after finishing 18 holes on one of the best New England has to offer..Game On!

Blackstone is back to its former glory! Most consistent conditions around. Fast greens and grass like carpet in the fairways. By far the best layout in central mass. Very reasonable prices for such a great course. Aside from my favorite golf course, the food on the patio rounds out a perfect day of golf.

Blackstone had some issues in 2010 with burned out fairways, but by the middle of last season they had made some heroic efforts to recoup. Played there right after they opened this year and the conditions were great for early spring! Its great to see this beautiful course make a comeback!

One of the best public courses in Central Mass. Great layout and great conditions. Also the best carts in all of New England. Not many places have GPS and scoring right in the cart.

Awful, steer clear. $80 and 5 1/2 hour round. No rangers in the course. No water either. Worst round Ive played all year.
