Do NOT have a party here for your kid. Worse experience I ever had in all my years as a parent paying for a party. 1. They had one host for two parties 2. They rushed me out half an hour before my party ended cause of rain, it was raining the WHOLE party and they want you to pay in full while your party is going on 3. We barely saw the host only when she showed the kids animals and at the end. 4. They take forever to answer phone calls and emails 5. They charge you for guests you did not have 6. Why would they charge you for babies under 1 year OLD 7. Manager tells you the day of party she will issue a partial refund for party and insults you with 25.00 refund and free passes and last 8. I had asked for drinks and cups when we were doing the cake, she brings me drinks without cups...I told her I no longer wanted the drinks and she says do not worry about it, got the cups at the END of my party after everyone had already ate then Manager says the drinks was part of my refund, along with two extra guests which amounts up to 25.00 In all my years as a Manager, I would not ever treated my customers like that. I always made sure they were happy and not insult them. I decline her free passes as she thinks this is my sons first trip there. No it is not. My son has frequent that zoo YEARLY since he was a baby....I decline free passes cuz I felt insulted by her offer on a refund. Never again will I step foot in this zoo and will I recommend to all my family and friends to ever go here. This manager needs to get her act together, make sure her staff are promptly replying to all customers, make sure she has enough staff to cover the parties, and honor her end.

I thought this would be a good place to bring my 7 year old daughter because its close to home... We were feeding goats and out of nowhere one of them started screaming in pain because one of her ears was stuck on the wood fence. People were going crazy trying to find a staff member to help the goat. She ended up tearing a large piece of her ear. The poor goat was bleeding alot and no one came to assist. I asked my daughter to go look at other animals, she was traumatized by what she had just witnessed. About 15 minutes later, I saw two female employees on the golf cart chatting. I interrupted for a minute and told him the situation they just looked at each other and one said that happens all the time and they continued their conversation... I stood in shock and speechless. Then she looked at me and said sarcastically thank you and continued her conversation. I walked by the goat one more time on our way out and no one had went to check on her and her ear was still bleeding. So traumatizing to my seven-year-old shame on you for having horrible staff and not caring about your animals.

Beautiful park in theory. Zoo was hard to find as the main entrance and the entrance that GPS takes you to are closed. Street signs did not clearly guide one to the main entrance. If you stop at the entrance gate at the main entrance the guide will give you a small piece of paper with directions to the entrance they want you to use. Entrance into the park is $3.00 and then you are charged again to get into a small zoo. Animals are caged and some do not appear healthy. It was sad to see a bobcat pacing back and forth in its cage. I saw a chicken acting ill on the outside of the enclosures. There were no attendants nearby to notify of the problem.

Main entrance was closed. The sign stated traffic use Trafton road entrance. Traveled to Trafton Road it was closed. An hour later all the way across the Connecticut River to get back on 91 south to get to the Longmeadow entrance only to be ripped off by the gate keeper. She was rolling her eyes saying yeah she "knew about the sign". Then proceeded to pocket 2 dollars charging me $5.00 knowing my liscence plate was clearly Massachusetts. She was so rude.

Loved this place. Went early October, which would definitely be the off season. It was still a fun place to be despite the cold. I want to return in the summer. Small zoo, with a park outside for my little girl. Watch out for the Gibbon (I think) his bladder can be full, and he can aim.

I went to the zoo last fall, with a friend of mine. $20 for both of us, for a 30 min walk through, not so good. The animals were poorly kept, and recently two rare monkeys died due to lack of proper care. Please stop going and help shut down this zoo. Its dirty and depressing.

I have been at the zoo many times, and I have always enjoyed myself. It is a great zoo for little kids because it is not too big. The animals are very well cared for and the staff have been very approachable and knowledgeable. This is a great place to spend the day.

This is a cute little zoo. Its fun to feed and pet the animals in the central area. Be sure to check the website before you go to make sure its open- the zoo closes for the winter. I couldnt figure out how to indicate this in the Google Maps entry. :(

This is a full fledge Zoo. I went in a little skeptical I thought it was going to be a little Zoo with not that many animals. Parking was $11 but admitance to the zoo was free. That was a plus. Kudos to the build a bear workshop :)

Could stand to have better animals. Some just seem as if they went into their own woods, set up traps and caged them. Just my opinion tho.. Plus, the entrance fee to the zoo isnt priced very reasonably for what exactly it is.

A really nice zoo. Not too large but you can easily spend an hour or two seeing all the exhibits. Very much enjoyed the parrots that greeted us with a hello and a "come here". Many animals to amuse kids and adults alike.

Great open space, playground, picnic area, water park and pool for the summer that locals swarm to. Zoo is cute. Nestled in the back of park with extra admission from park entrance fee.

Our two year old really enjoyed it, large variety of animals and you can get pretty close to most. We got in half off using a coupon, definitely recommend searching that out.
