For those not directly related to the conservatory, Jordan Hall is a little gem tucked discretely at the south of Back bay. Concerts are usually free, music is always fantastic, and the acoustic quality is outstanding, probably only behind the bigger Symphony Hall across the street. Mind you, just turn your cell phone off, like, really off. And dont cough.

A wonderful concert hall, full of wonderful memories. The acoustics are excellent. The annual Messiah performance is a wonderful family tradition. Expensive (by our standards) and worth it.

Jordan Hall is a beautiful hall with excellent acoustics, its much more intimate then Symphony Hall.
