I got to see Low at this place, and the sound was excellent. This is partly a credit to the club and the engineer. It was a very good experience. The club is clean and appropriately lit without being bright inside, the security and bartenders were attentive, and I noticed they did something I havent seen other clubs do, which is maintain a path, kind of like a fire lane, from the entrance of the club, past the right of the stage, to a rear bar area, where the toilets and emergency exits are located. They have a busy calendar of mid level indie type acts of all musical stripes. I caught another show here recently, with a bill of heavy metal guitar shredding acts. It was less special for me than seeing one of my favorite acts of all time had been, but I was able to appreciate all of the same things about the venue that time around too. More likely to want to see a band if they are playing here.

I recently went to a concert at Brighton Music Hall and thought it was a nice venue in a good location with terrible sound. They have a solid sound system with an industry standard digital mixer and I wanted to like the place but the sound engineer butchered the bands music. Beers were a little more expensive than I wouldve expected for its location. Its unfortunate because there arent many good small-mid sized venues in the area and they have the potential to be an outstanding venue but theyre not getting everything right. B- overall.

Definitely a great venue if you like to small & intimate concerts. But that doesnt mean theres not room to get a bit rowdy. I saw a band play here where the drummer came down and started dancing with us in the crowd; that being said, you definitely could watch a show and just soak up the vibes. Theres also a nice pool area in the back I believe (definitely out of sight and not loud though). Hope to see some more bands here in the future.

Went with a friend to see the comedian Louie CK on February 15th, 2017. We sat in the left mezzanine, row D, seats 13 and 15. Even though we were high up, we could hear everything loud and clear. The view was okay, though the person sitting in front of me was rather tall (Im also a bit short). The inside of the theatre is breathtakingly ornate and detailed; angelic frescoes don the ceiling and are framed with golden arches and beams.

Probably my favorite place in Boston to see a show. Small, intimate setting but manages to get some great bands. The best part: there are always some really great craft beers on for reasonable prices and the bar never seems to get that busy. The downside is the front room and the pool hall area where people can be loud if they arent there to watch the band, but that is easily avoided by heading closer to the stage.

Great average spot. Not too big and not too small of space either. Went for The Commonkings concert Friday night and the place was filled with good vibes. Alcohol drinks were about $5-6.50. They do attract a certain kind of crowd, trendy yet chill. Bathrooms were pretty clean. They got 3 bars on each corners of the hall, also 2 pool tables for extra entertainment. Overall great venue for a small concert!

Having been to many other rock venues in the past, BMH left an overall positive impression. Bathrooms and dancefloor were clean, at least upon first entering. Acoustical clarity left me satisfied as some clubs in the past had horrible sound, especially when coming to hear a little harsher kind of music. All in all, Id say this place was worth visiting. Definitely beats NYCs "DROM."

The music hall is surprisingly small, which made the experience much better than expected. We arrived 10mins after the door opening and managed to stand real close to the stage at a Lisa Hannigan concert, the sound effect and everything was great. There was quite a selection of drinks even though we only had beer. Will definitely go back for more concerts!

Recently whet to my first concert here. Decent small venue. Staff here was a bit abrasive. Forced the canister out of my labeled prescription inhaler to prove it wasnt mace. The place generally felt dirty. The floor was sticky all around the bar even before the concert started. Its not atrocious but its not somewhere that you go for the venue.

Excellent venue. Views are great, venue is clean, sound quality is excellent, bars are clean and well staffed, drink prices okay, excellent touring acts, and decent ticket prices. Only possible way to improve this venue would be more parking options.

Its a great venue, I went back December 2013 and everyone working there was very kind. Its small but not suffocating. Going back in March for the same band I went for last time and Im excited for the venue almost as much as I am for the band.

I met my boyfriend here! Aside from that, however, its an excellent venue with reasonably priced drinks, quick service, a large stage and space to listen to music in, and pool tables in the back. I highly recommend any concert or event here.

Havent been to a small venue before, but now that Ive experience it, I love it. Was way more relaxed and chill then the bigger venues with tons of people pushing in. Came here for a Gin Wigmore concert and the experience was amazing.

I saw a band with my friend here and I found the bar staff and door people friendly and helpful. They also had a decent selection of drinks that had pricing in line with most club settings, *not* ridiculously overpriced.

Great sound at this venue. A great intimate spot to catch some live music. It is a jackpot when a performer you really like plays there. You wont ever get any closer or pay a more reasonable ticket price.

Awesome venue. Ive seen a few bands here... they curate some great acts, the bar service is prompt and likely attractive, and the venue is intimate enough to always make it a memorable experience.

This is a fantastic venue. It has ample room around the stage and multiple bars so the lines never get too long. The sound was great. We celebrated a birthday there, dancing into the morning hours.

Great venue for smaller shows and a better layout than Great Scott, but a little too clean and corporate feeling to be a truly exceptional venue. Could also use a more diverse draft beer selection.

Nice small club that holds about 300 people for an intimate show. Saw the Street Dogs Wreck the Halls show there this past year. Cant wait to get back to Boston for another show at this place.

Great sound system and the prices for drinks are cheap. You dont have to wait long since they have 3 bars. It gets packed when theyre at capacity, but its now one of my favorite venues

Fun and intimate place for a show. Pool tables and other games. Two bars with specialty drinks. Only downfall is the lack of seating not for people out of shape or older.

One of the best venues in Boston. Doesnt feel like a corporate franchise . Three bars, skeeball, and a pool table. Great local and national acts. Large dance floor
