What a weird track. The longer holes are tight, the short ones - wide open. A few really nice holes... #1 and #9 are great. One of the par 3s on the back (kind of over water) is nice, as is the hole that precedes it. But overall - too quirky. My partner hit a phenomenal drive on 18...dead center (the fairway is about 10 yards wide at the top of the rise) about 285. No chance to go for the par 5 green in 2 though, as risk/reward doesnt exist. Itd be all risk... 230 of carry over a valley filled with scrub. He chipped a lob wedge 50 yards to lay up. The course needs to cut some trees and widen a few fairways on long holes. The back 9 has 3 or 4 drivable par 4s... but why? Hybrid and sand wedge works fine - even though they are wide open. A C- course. Better ones in the area (RedTail & Shaker). Too pricey. Need to drop rates.

Played today for $25 walking, course was in great shape. This looks like a very well cared for course. I would have to say it is in better shape on day 2 of the season then most courses in and around the Boston area are in June. They are doing some remodeling but I really enjoyed some of the holes today. Yes some of the longer holes are narrow but nothing out of the ordinary, you cant have every course you play with huge fairways, some skill should still be involved. The guys in the pro shop couldnt have been nicer. Great staff and I will be back.

One of the best public courses in MA. Not for the faint at heart or beginner as the course is difficult and requires a good grasp of golf in order to fully manage. The staff is great, the fairways and greens are well kept, and the scenery is grand. You should stop by next time you are looking to play a round of 9.
