Ran a 5K there (Acton 5K) recently and the whole area was great to warm up in and then to even do a short, additional speedwork and hill sprints after the race. The race itself wound through woodsy trails, almost car-free roadways, and finished on a paved path around a picturesque pond where people were swimming on the other side. A small, open-air pavilion and restroom facilities very welcome too. Noticed ball fields in other areas. Family-friendly area, but also great for older adults to get in runs too.

Second time in this park, some friends live close by. This time there was a concert event with a band playing "The Beetles". The experience was good, the park is well located, easy to access/parking, and the community is very friendly. One thing I would suggest, make sure you bring your food, there were not many options, all I see was ice cream and potato chips in the only shop that was open.

Great park to walk around and have a picnic , and a nice playground (not shaded, so if its hot out everything is hot )if you want to go to the beach I would think twice as it has no shade and expensive and on the other side of it the dogs can take a swim for free :)

Nice small park, small pond with paved path around it with wooden bridge across a corner of the pond. Beach with sand, and food bar and showers here too. Playground and a nice pavilion in a grassy area as well.

Nara park is a lovely little park with a 1 mile easy walking path around a small pond, with a beach for swimming in season. They host outdoor concerts and family events for very reasonable prices.

Beautiful park. Great for walking, nice scenic loop around the pond that is paved which is very helpful when you have a stroller! Dogs are welcome as long as theyre leashed.

Love this place... Regularly play volleyball on the sand courts, listen to concerts and my kids take advantage of the playground. Nice paved walking trail.
