Husband and I went on the sunset kayak. Weve done kayaking before but not in a sea kayak, we had a great time. Went around several of the islands in the harbor and took a quick rest stop on one of them. The scenery was great. The guide was very knowledgeable and very thorough on instructing us how to use the gear, although a little on the gruff side. The big downside to this companys tour that there really needs to be two guides. We had 12 people, and the one guide was responsible for getting everyones gear, showing us all how to use it, checking the kayaks, transporting and unloading the kayaks, moving the trailer... That meant a big part of the evening was sitting around while he took care of something else. If he had a partner, one could explain while the other unloaded kayaks, etc. It took forever to finally get on the water. Once we did it was great, and it was a nice long tour, but it seems like it could be better performed with two guides.

The man driving your bus that transports the kayaks has TERRIBLE customer service skills. He swears at people for honest mistakes and should not be dealing with customers at all. If you want your business reputation not to tainted I recommend firing this employee. We will not be recommending your business, rather we will be telling people to AVOID such bad service. There are plenty of other companies that exhibit good customer service and dont try and fight you in a parking lot. Heres some more advice, placing some real private parking signs up in front of your business could help avoid confusion with parking, rather than orange cones that dont cover the entire area.

A memorable experience, night kayaking was fun !! Our guide was very knowledgeable. He started with a session of kayaking covering all the steps, from how to hold the paddle, to, what to do in case of an emergency. During the tour he shared some interesting facts about the stars. It was my first time seeing bio-luminescence, pretty amazing. I am going to do it again. It would be nice to have, if they also facilitate providing photos to capture the memory. Note: It gets a little cold at night, so you should come prepared.

We stopped by to get information as a tour was heading out to sea. With the option to join them at 4 pm we jumped at the chance. It was a group of three young teenage girls and a mom. The guide was patient showing us how things worked and paid special attention to what we called the "blonde" boat with two teens. We completed a breath-taking tour of the Porcupine Islands..wrapped up with a gorgeous sunset. By far everyones favorite thing done on the island! I totally recommend the sunset tour.

Definitely need a sweater because it gets chilly and bug spray because when you get off on an island. They dont warn you about these things. However, the scenery was very nice and we did see porpoises and bald eagles. They were also very accommodating as they did give us a spot very last minute. 4 hours on a kayak for a first timer is a bit much though. Our guide wasnt the friendliest but he did give some information about the neighboring islands and history.

We took a night kayak tour with Breshin (I hope I spelled it right) and he took us around the Sheep and Porcupine island and showed us around. We were a group of 12 people in total. Breshin is very knowledgeable and herded the group very well. He gave us an introduction to Kayaking as well which was really helpful. With his guidance and the beauty of the place the whole event was truly sublime and would recommend it to anyone going to Acadia.

This kayak tour of Acadia was one of my favorite activities when out in the park and Bar Harbor. This is a small, locally owned tour company and Bresican, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and very professional and down to earth. Make sure to bring snacks and water and dress warm if you are going out for the sunset tour. Id recommend a waterproof jacket!

Definitely recommend for anyone going to Acadia. The bioluminescence was very impressive. Our tour guide helped us with the basics of kayaking, handled the group pretty well and was fun. He was knowledgeable and talked about constellations, lighthouses and Islands. Towards the end we got a bit adventurous too. Overall fun, satisfying and memorable experience.

Great tour and knowledgeable guide. I wasnt too sure about sea kayaking, but they made this feel very safe and we completely enjoyed it. It was a great workout and my feet got wet. I recommend these guys, very easy to deal with and personable.
