My husband and I had our wedding at Richwood on the River this past weekend and it was AMAZING. Simply put, if I could give the venue and Colleen Sutton (the owner and manager) 1,000,000 stars I would ... and even then it might not do it justice still. The location itself is like absolutely gorgeous and the attention to detail is second to none. Every location we took photos at our photographers were in awe with the backdrop. Most importantly, so many of our guests came up to us let us know how amazing they thought the venue was and how much fun they had. The words "this was the best wedding I have ever been to" were heard often. We LOVE you Colleen and cannot wait to be back for our anniversary!!!!

STOP LOOKING AT OTHER VENUES!!!! RICHWOOD ON THE RIVER IS THE TREASURE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! My daughter was married at Richwood on the River on April 30th, 2016. What a beautiful memory Colleen Sutton (the owner) help create. Considering we had a multicultural wedding. Colleen is a personable, lovely lady, with a servants heart. All of our guests were so impressed with the elegance and history of Richwood on the River. You wont go wrong having your wedding or event at Richwood on the River. Richwood on the River is a GEM, worth every penny spent!!!

Our weekend at Richwood was incredible! My wife and I were in a wedding this past weekend and got to stay there for two nights. From start to finish, from the scenery and views, to the staff and service, we were blown away. Colleen was beyond helpful to us and the whole group throughout the entire wedding weekend. She and her staff were incredible and really made us all feel at home. The views are also incredibly relaxing. Its a little slice of paradise and a great spot for a wedding, a weekend getaway or more. Well be back!

Must visit! Spectacular fall weekend. Enjoyable from the moment we saw the mansion! The owner and staff were very attentive. I was impressed with the cleanliness and appearance of this beautiful plantation. Very cute Madison,Indiana is only 10 minutes away. Felt very at home from breakfast to spending the day around the house. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Ive already booked my next stay to see during the Christmas season.

Beautiful venue run by a fabulous team. Everything was pristine and they went out of their way to make us feel utterly comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The main house is very rustic and carefully preserved. The grounds are simply breathtaking! Im definitely going back! :)

We had a lovely night in the cabins. It was very pleasant to be visited by a mother fox and three of her young ones about 6:00 am. The breakfast was delightful.
