A wonderful find in an unlikely place! We stumbled onto Prairie Fire Winery on a trip to the Flint Hills. We were met by Julie, wife of the winemaker, and learned a lot about their background, the operation and the wines theyre producing. The wines were excellent, and we walked out with several bottles. Our favorites were the Chambourcin, Frontenac and Traminette. We had a very nice visit, and well be back.

This is a wonderful place. We took a Saturday and spent some time with the wonderful individuals here. They make you feel part of their family. I have never been to a winery. Prairie Fire is the best. I will recommend this winery to everyone. A sweet couple paid for a glass of wine for me because they over heard a conversation. Great place. Great wine. Great cheese. Great fun. Go! Go! Go! Go!

This place was a very pleasant surprise. A little off the beaten path, but once you get here you will enjoy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Im not a big fan of Midwestern wine, but theirs were very nice to drink.

Now this is a winery with fabulous educated ladies. They individualized the tasting just for you. They enjoyed educating us on their wine experience. Beautiful place, out in country with wines that were artfully crafted.

Noticed sign on freeway so decided to stop. Very accessible from freeway exit. Staff friendly and informative. Enjoyed the wine so we have a couple of bottles to enjoy at home.
