Bottom line stay away... The elderberry semi sweet and the other sweet wines are horrible, but the elderberry dry reserve is really really good... And that was when I tasted it but when I bought a bottle and opened it a couple of weeks later it was spoiled dont know why, in face all 3 wines That I bought were spoiled and not good, I dont think it has to do with me I kept it at a fairly stable temperature.... So if you like spoiled wine I suppose thats the place for you. Also I had to respond to someone who mentioned that they specialize in elderberry wine, yes thats true, and I know that; because Ive been to there location in St Joseph, but this year 2015 there elderberry wine was simply not good...

I told them I was shopping for a Christmas gift evocative of Kansas. They told me elderberries only grow in Kansas and elderberry wine would be a perfect gift, so I purchased a bottle. Unfortunately, I waited to do my research until after getting home. Elderberries are native in every U.S. state with a couple of exceptions and also in various countries. I also discovered this winery has made false claims in the past about the healing properties of elderberries. Needless to say, I did not give this wine as a gift and I will never shop there again.

Every time I visit we feel like were imposing. Its like pulling teeth to sample wine. That really bothers me. Especially since we always bring our friends or family there and have bought so much wine from this place. That wont be happening anymore. Over the lousy service for not so great wine. Would rather patronize another local and more appreciative business.

Stopped to check it out , great service , great wine , bought several kinds . I dont about the these other bad reviews but the server we had was out standing , very knowledgeable, took his time explaining the wines and helping other customers. Plan on coming back first time we have had elderberry wine and its great.

I drive all the way from Fort Riley just to buy their wine. The staff are very friendly and patient. I asked A LOT of questions the last time I visited, and the man that was working was awesome; he made sure I picked the right type of wine according to my preference! I highly recommend this winery!

Not sure which location the previous reviewer had a problem at since shes posted hate messages at all of the locations. Personally, Ive never had any problems with either service or products and have occasoinally visited their original location for several years when passing through the area.

We are from Texas and came for a visit. We went wine tasting and liked the wine. The lady was very friendly and informative. Was very patient with us since we had our two toddler granddaughters with us. Will visit again. Good wine and jelly/jam. A must try.

If you like sweet wines, do not miss this place. They specialize in elderberries and have an elderberry wine and mead, both of which are lovely. We also liked the fruit wines, such as peach, and the Dolce Lady. Try the jam too!

Rude! I felt Like i was imposing, only tested one wine which was good. But i would not recommend or purchase from here. I felt like i was poop on her she and she just wanted us not to bother her.

Very poor service. Workers were unprofessional and unwilling to give assistance. Wine was well crafted, but nothing special and there are better wineries with comparable quality in the area.
