UPDATE 7.19.17.....The picture is of a PERFECTLY made CRANBERRY ICE TEA, that Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis, MS, had ZERO problem with making for me. Dirty Bar & Grill !!!!! Complaint #1....Im sitting here, waiting for my burger, and i see a lot of the bar is dirty from previous patrons, who have left. There are 2 employees that dont seem interested in wiping down the bar, which is covered with food. Even as i sat down, i had a hard time finding a place to sit, as there was no clean counter space or tables. As i just sat at a dirty spot, the barmaid finally came and clean the spot. Some spots sat dirty for 30 minutes. I realise that im not at Cesars Palace, but as a truck driver, i love eating at casinos because the food is good, the service is fast, and the places are clean. If i wanted to eat at a dirty place, i wouldve eaten at a Burger King. Complaint #2..... I asked for, as i always ask for a HALF CRANBERRY & HALF ICE TEA. I call it an October River. I drink this all day long. Both times, i got 1/8th cranberry and the rest is ice tea, even though i specifically said HALF CRANBERRY & HAVE ICE TEA twice. Is it too much to ask for the drink that i ordered. Again, other casinos have no problem with honoring my request. So when a person sits down and pays there hard earned money for a meal, who is the meal about? The customer? Or the inconvenienced barmaid, who treats people like they are stupid? I watched her make my drink. On my 2nd drink, she just took my 1st glass, poured only very little cranberry in it and more ice (even though it already had plenty of ice) and the other 90% was ice tea. I made a big mistake coming here and next time, ill stop at Prairie Meadows instead. They know how to treat paying customers and they make a great October River. Otherwise, the casino staff is nice & burger was good. But the barmaid gave off the impression that the customer doesnt matter, in her world.

So we are locals to the area and needed a hotel as an emergency during some remodeling at midnight. We show up and ask for a non smoking room. We get to the room and everything seems fine until someone either below or above us starts smoking. The whole room smells like an ashtray for the entire night. My four year old wakes up at 430 am coughing and crying about her nose. This forces us to pack up and leave the hotel. The front desk only took 10 bucks off the bill and tells me to call the manager later. I try to call the hotel back and when you select the option to talk with the hotel thr system literally hangs up on you. I finally stumble my way through enough prompts to get the front desk and the gal working there acts all irritated and rude that I called back. She is very short and brash with me, like shes shocked that I asked for the manager. I finally got the managers voicemail at 9am this morning and left a message. Here we are at 3:00 pm without a single call back. If I dont hear something soon Im going to call my credit card company. My advice, dont stay here unless you smoke or like the smell of an ashtray in your face when you sleep.

When I went to check in, the computers were not working, the two women at the desk were in a tizzy. They managed to check in three people ahead of me and after 10 minutes waiting I was told to come back later by one of the women. Then the other women began checking in the people behind me. Not happy, I then walked back to the desk and asked to also be checked in. I had made a reservation on their website and had a printed confirmation. They told me they could not find it. I told them I would gladly cancel the room and go on down the road but they said I would still be charged for the room ??? So after a lot of hassle I was given what was supposed to be a lakeview non smoking room. The lakeview was crane your head, look sideways beyond the sewage lagoon. The room and indeed the entire facility smelled of smoke. I believe all the smoke from the casino goes through the ventilation system and permeates the entire place. The room was spacious and nicely furnished but the water pressure in the shower was non existant and when asked for the password for wifi I was told "you dont need one but good luck."

Went to see the Commadors in the outside theatre and it was great. Sound and lighting was prefect for the setting. Cement seats tiered seating but they provide pads for them, bring your own chairs or stand for general admission. Beer only outside which was a bummer for some in my party. Signing up for the players club was a little trying because the employee handling it was hard of hearing and worked at guests services and had computer problems as well; "FREE WIFI" didnt register on any of my party members phones (even asked a security guard for help and he seemed confused why it kept telling me I wasnt of age at 30). Had the buffet (clean and kept rotated nicely) food all hot and fresh. My prime rib was under cooked (still bloody and cold) in the center which was a little off putting but still good. Surf and turf on Saturday nights!! One employee made a creepy comment that would put me off every using valet at this casino! All and all a great show and some adults only family time. Didnt gamble to much but wish the tables would open up before 7 on a Saturday seems late when the dinner buffet starts at 4?

Went to a concert there had a great time. Had a booked room weeks in advance. I was trying to go back to it after the concert, but the security guard was on a power trip that night, and bored from the deadness of the casino. He made me find a ride home miles away to another city in the middle of the night. I sat and waited for my ride in the hotel lobby for two hours but couldnt go to my room for some reason? the hotel wouldnt refund my room charge. Said theyd give me $50 for my inconvenience and told me they could tell anyone to leave the casino for any reason they wanted. In my case I appeared drunk. I thought this place would want to keep their guests safe from driving home considering they provide the alcohol but guess not. Watch out for security, they are looking for action. $280 a night after tax and all the other fees they sneak in, is a little extreme for the price of these rooms.

Not impressed. Security told me "I better see your ID young man" and Im in my late 30s. I found this very disrespectful. How about "Sir, may I see your ID please?" When eating at the buffet, I was handed off to the bar without my knowledge. When I went to the exit register to pay, I was very rudely told I needed to pay at the bar. When I went to the bar, the bar tender girl was chatting with another customer as she was taking my payment; plus, I didnt get a glass of water until 15 minutes after I sat down. I recommend that management better train their employees to treat guests with more respect . I also recommend to reduce the minimum craps bet from $5 to $2 as there was nobody at the table. This was my sole reason for visiting. I literally spent 30 seconds walking through the casino before leaving for good. I wont be back.
