Stay at this hotel and your own risk. I had such a negative experience and it never got better things continue to get worse. On June 3, 2016 i went to see the Jennifer Lopez concert. First of all we paid for a Bellagio view of the Fountain view and got sky view on the 50th floor. They put us on the floor where the butlers live. It was hot in our room but i thought it was me being excited not until we walked out of the room and got in the hallway did i realize my air conditioner in our room was not working. I asked to change rooms immeditalty being that we were in a rush of changing rooms i left my Diamond necklace in our room safe and when i called the front desk they were not concern they took a report and pacified me and said i would be getting a call. Meanwhile time was of the essence. . Left message with maid service multifple times along with supervisors and with maintenance staff since they were the ones that repaired the air conditioner. Within 2 hours later the room was already occupied. They would not check the room and no one ever helped me or returned any calls other than to leave a report with security. They passed the burden on me and no one ever helped. They kept on giving me the run around. I was never able to retrieve my necklace and they made me go to Security to check lost and found. It was not lost I just never grabbed it from the safe and they would not go up to retirvie it. I had to do a report when we checked out and when i followed up with the report i was told it was handle by a 3rd party Insurance company. Since a report was taken the 3rd party vendor that handles thier insurance claims they would not discuss the matter. No ONE discussed the matter with me. I felt like they just didnt CARE. In addition after checking out I went to Starbucks down stairs in the hotel and left my new Iphone at the counter there. I realized a hour later I didnt have my phone and decide to track my phone. My phone showed up it was at the Starbucks at the hotel where I left it I called starbucks and they said there was no phone left behind. No sooner than i hung up the phone with them my Cell phone was on the move and five minutes later my phone was shut off I was no longer able to trace it. I went back to the hotel within 10 minutes of the phone call and asked the Starbucks counter who had my phone they said they didnt know. No phone was left behind. I made a scene at this point they were liars and thieves. I went back to security to make another report or to retrieve footage and my cell phone was calling my husbands phone it was a staff member that had my phone and called my husband to tell them they had found it. Believe what you may but this company hires incompetent staff and liars and thieves i would never recommend this hotel to anyone. In addition i asked for them to discount any portion of my hotel bill for my inconvience and the negative experience they said no. By the way the insurance company denied the claim and said they were not at fault. I could not even discuss the matter as to how they came up to their findings. They said it was "works of the Hotel" and could not be discussed. Horrible Horrible experience. The only positive thing was the friends I was with that weekend.

Never again will we stay here. The hotel has become very run down, the clientele trashy, and not to mention couldnt sleep an ounce with the base vibrating in our room from the club next door at the Cosmopoliton, as well as being woken up at 3 a.m. by drunk people pounding on the doors, and a guy who tried to break into our room. The cabinets in the bedroom and bathroom are chipped, we found a blob of hair in our bed, and the carpet is pretty shabby. When we complained to the manager she said there was nothing she could do except bring us ear plugs and give us a food/beverage comp, or give us a smoking room, except that Im highly sensitive to smoke. Were on a conference here and this is a total nightmare. Most hotels would upgrade you, but this hotels service proved to be just as good of quality as the rooms. The horrible experience didnt end there. The next day we were awoken at 5 a.m. by a drunken party next door, and banging on our wall. At 10 a.m. we were woken up by pounding on our door. When I opened the door, a drunk guy was claiming we were in his room, and proceeded to push his way in. My husband and I had to hold the door with all of our strength to keep him from coming in. I was shaking and distraught from having to fight a break-in first thing in the morning. We called security and they never followed-up with us. When we mentioned our experiences to the front desk agent upon check-out, we asked to speak to a manager, who refused to come out and speak to us, until we finally demanded it. Manuel, a supervisor came out and had zero sympathy for what we dealt with, not just this morning with our intruder, but throughout our whole stay. He said he was not responsible for what happens here, which is completely unprofessional. The hotel is absolutely responsible for everything that takes place on its property. Who knows what would have happened if we were not able to push the guy out of our room, and he offered no apology or acknowledgment for anything. Finally after I demanded, we received partial resort fee credit, but it did not compensate for all that we went through, especially with the attitude that he gave us. The management here is clearly untrained to deal with customer service issues. It doesnt take a lot to keep guests satisfied, and we left feeling angry, violated, and unheard. Dont come here if you value your safety, money, or sleep. I could see this kind of service in a lower-priced hotel, but what you get for what you pay is ridiculous. This is the first and last time we come here.

Ive stayed at Planet Hollywood on a few occasions and each time we visit, it looses a little of its luster. During our previous stay in Las Vegas, we found ourselves wanting to be closer to the action. Our previous stay (Encore) was further down the strip past the Venetian, and while it wasnt completely out of the way, it made getting around to all of the attractions a bit more work. We left saying, "next time well stay closer to . . . ." The idea was to stay at a nice hotel in the Bellagio area without going over budget and Planet Hollywood rose above the Paris, Flamingo as the top choice. PH offered suites presented in a modern style (while being movie themed) with great views of the Las Vegas strip, the Bellagio fountains or the mountain range. When we stayed at PH we stayed in one of their Hollywood Hip rooms. The room wasnt overly large but more than adequate given what we paid. Our view was of the mountains / airport and our room contained props from the movie "The Saint." (it had a Val Kilmer shirt lol) Our bed (king size) was comfortable, there was decent walking space and the room was very clean. If I could make one comment regarding the condition of the room: it looked well-travelled. It sort of looked like some of their furniture (night tables, dresser/cabinet, walls and fixtures) could use a refresh due to a bunch of little dings, scratches and scrapes. None of this really took away from the experience of the hotel. The check-in process was fast, easy and the staff was super friendly. The line seemed to be fairly large, but it moved quickly. We arrived roughly 6 hours before check-in time and we were able to get early check-in. I cant remember if we paid for it. If we did, it was less than $20.00. Their casino is an open-air design with high ceilings big walkways. All of their machines look new and well maintained. One of the things we really loved about the hotel was its location. PH is situated above the shops at Miracle Mile. A fantastic mall which has all kinds of shopping and affordable restaurants. Walk down the strip and you have some more shopping including Ross, Hard Rock (the store), the Coke Cola store and others. Stock up on booze and supplies at the ABC stores!!! You have the Bellagio fountains across the street and the very chic Cosmopolitan right next door. If youre interested in buying tickets for shows in the evening, there is a TIX4TONIGHT right outside the casino entrance. (super convenient)
