Ive been to a few breweries now and Peace Tree is my favorite one thus far. Their beers are amazing, every last one of them. If you live outside of their distribution area, move. The brewery taproom is very comfortable with a lively decor. The items for sale are fairly priced and are good quality. They keep their focus on the beer and do not serve food. But they do advertise locally owned restaurants in their brewery and encourage guests to order food delivered to their brewery so you can sit back, enjoy some food and more of their beer. I love this place so much it hurts!

A very big thank you to whomever decided this was a good idea. It couldnt be for the money as this will never ever make a profit, so it must be for the love of brewing and wanting to improve the community? Great job. Now as for the beer, The Hefe was too light but very good, the Red Ale should be fed to the hogs, honestly horrible, terrible, undrinkable. The Porter was nice, and the IPA my favorite and a very good local brew. We appreciate the effort and look forward to more!!!

This is a fantastic place to stop for a delicious brew and great conversation. I particularly liked the Rye Porter and the Stout. Hop Heads out there will love the Double IPA. They also make a great Root Beer and had Cherry Soda on the day we stopped which my children thoroughly enjoyed. This place is truly a gem. It is a great addition to the beer selection in the state of Iowa and especially Knoxville.

Peace Tree is a great brewery with a very comfortable atmosphere. Their bottled beers are fantastic, but if you really want a nice variety of fresh, wonderful beers, you really need to head to Knoxville. The Blonde Fatale has pretty much become their signature beer, but trust me---the fun doesnt stop there. Indecision Dark IPA, Royale 41... just go try them out. You wont be sorry you made the trip.

What a great place to place to relax have a few well balance brews and not have to worry about the place getting rowdy. Alot better than the any local bar I have been to. The tap room is a great place to unwind and enjoy some of Iowas best beer.

Excellent local brewery! So glad we found this during our annual trip to Iowa. The Blonde Fatale is amazing, but be careful, they arent kidding about the high APV! We will be back again.
