Booked with Hotwire and was very disappointed after seeing the reviews for Caribbean Cove. My experience (Im currently in my room )We came in late, the woman working the front desk appeared unprofessional and kept cursing in front of my two year old. The front area around The reception desk was BEAUTIFUL however The halls were covered in stains, ripped wallpaper, and clear damage everywhere. The entire walk through the first floor hall was horrible smelling like mildew and mold. Once to our room we couldnt access it. Once we talked to the woman at the desk she had forgot to tell us the 5th floor locks were all put in upside down and to pull the handle up instead of down. I guess she forgot to drop that reminder along with her "F bombs" previously. Once in our room more stains, damaged ceiling tiles in the bathroom, thermostats broken, heat doesnt work, the Tv Channels are VERY limited, and the bathroom is dirty. There is hair on the counter and hanging from the shower head. We didnt bother with the rude woman at the desk over the hair last night. The man working in the morning was very helpful and offered a discount. There wasnt a "hot breakfast" a few cereals, some old bagels, non refrigerated cream cheese (tasted horrible) , and juice. Also, I got a near by hotels WiFi signal better than Caribbean Cove. Overall disappointed.

Disappointed is the best word for our stay. It was my daughters bday so I planned a weekend getaway. Drive three hours, checked in and they give us a room that the bathroom ceiling was all in the bathtub. We said this is unacceptable so we mice our things to a second one room and begin to unpack and change into our swimsuits when someone goes to use the to list and it is full of toilet paper and BM. Ok now I am furious a d head down to the front desk... After standing there for almost an hour they move us to a third room. We get there and after being in there a bit we notice gum on the floor stuck in the carpet, silly string stuck to the ceiling and I think what is that under the table... Yep a dirty sock that housekeeping missed. The water park did not have enough chairs to accommodate everyone. And the water was freezing. It is 28 degrees out and we go to an indoor water park I expect the water to be warm. Went to the indoor pool that evening and the hot tub was filled with a bunch of young kids and a man of about thirty years old obviously drunk talking to them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is not worth the money we paid. Very disappointing!

Run away. Run FAR run FAST. 1) Water park closed. Ok, so this isnt the worst thing in the world, and there was an indoor pool, but we gave up before trying it. I will say the area around the pool was probably the coolest in the building, which is pretty much the opposite of desirable. 2) Its 90 degrees. No air conditioning is a deal breaker. 3) No hot water in first hotel room. Second room had hot water but was next to partying group with very loud speakers. I do not think they were occasional visitors. 4) If you are looking for a place to take a "date" after a night at the twisted kilt, its probably right up your ally. If you are looking for a place to rest, move along. As an aside, the place is having some kind of identity crisis... there were Radisson coming soon signs in the lobby, some kind of "church" (???) meeting in the building, the twisted kilt folks, and most weirdly a sign in orange on the door saying this place was not permitted to do business because of not being in line with Indiana Department of Revenue regulations (tax fraud?). I dont know for sure what its a front for but STAY AWAY.

I went here over the weekend with my family and my sisters family. My sisters family had some problems at check in.The problem was taken care of shorty. Once we got into our rooms we went to one of the restaurants there at the hotel. The prices where VERY over priced and not much to chose from. Although what we did order was very good. Then we went to the water park area. They had nowhere close to providing everyone there with seats. We had to stand there with 4 kids under 6 for 20 mins. before someone offered some of the seats they had. Then when we where leaving to go back to the room from the water park my niece had to stand there for 45 mins. before they brought more clean towels out. The next day as we was getting up housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:00 and check-out not till 11:00. Which was kinda rude. We ended up just leaving. We went to go back to the water-park but, it was even more crowded then the night before. There was just people walking in from off the street, that wasnt even staying there! This was a wast of time and money. This place is not worth what they are charging for it.

Not clean, most things broken (ice machines & vending), lacks sufficient staff. At 6:40am, there was no "breakfast" which we were told started at 6:30. We stayed mid week, but the place was like a ghost town. Almost no staff visable, no other guests out and about. The pool was open, but we never witnessed anyone using it till nitghtime. But then, when there are 6 people in the pool, they made them leave at 10. Maybe they should determine that 2pm on a wednesday might be a better time to clean the pool. Before I arrived, I tried to call the hotel. My experience, they answer the phone about 1/3 of the time. When we checked in, I see why. Lazy staff talking amongst themselves and not paying attention when guests approach the front desk. Although Google says the water park attached to this property is permanently closed, the sign indicates closed for renovation. The property has some potential, but it appears they dont have the proper staff and enough guests to support it. I loved the layout of the hotel in general, but it needs some work.

1. We needed a washer and drier, called to front desk to see if they had on and mid sentence they said yes and hung up. They didnt give me a chance to ask where it was. So we go to the front desk and ask, they say the third floor. We walk the third floor twice and went to the first floor, (headed back to the front desk), and we found the hotel laundry (for towels), and we ask where the guest washer and drier were, 2nd floor. We go there, and the washer is broke. 2. The doors to the shut down water park inside were open, a child could enter there and get seriously hurt. 3. Multiple complains from my teammates parents, getting hotel rooms and people are already staying there. Hair on floors in bathrooms, Green Lougies on ceilings. 4.The breakfast was terrible, pancakes you could crack in half, nasty eggs. 5. The public restroom they had there smelled terrible!! Overall inside it does look nice some places, but it is a trash hotel. I do not recommend.
