The entrance to Buckner cave is on private property owned by the National Speleological Society and is not a business. It is open to responsible use by experienced cavers who will help protect the cave and the property. Requests for access must be made via the website and done at least one week in advance. There is no charge but visitors are expected to act as guests.

Great cave to explore. Has a one week waiting period after you send the request form. Must have at least 3 sources of light per person and at least 3 people in your party. Also requires the signature of a liability release form.

I have caved there many times. With my kids, one time with my wife, and sometimes alone. Have been through the cave many times. Oh! I can tell you a lot of true stories! Oh yea!!!
