The Dupage Co 4H for many years has used the fairgrounds for two weekends a year for horse activities. In the far corner of the property, a very nice fenced arena existed. Maintenance dept had to do nothing to maintain it. They did nothing to keep it nice. 4H would smooth it out each year and pick up all the rocks that worked their way up. The girls and parents worked hard to always leave the facility clean when we left. Very little effort, if any was every expended by staff for the kids to participate. NO one used the ring except the 4H. However, some shortsighted bureaucrat or board member thought the fence around the arena should be taken down and ruining the arena for horse use. They decided it would look nicer in in some other area and wreck the 4H event. Pathetic. So, the group was forced to purchase on their own a flimsy temp fencing that was about 1/4th the size because of cost. Thankfully no one got injured. Pathetic choice whom ever made it. I am so glad my tax $ is being put to such good use.

I love the DuPage County Fair and fairgrounds! Its been a part of my life since before I joined 4-H at eight years of age. But with 10 years of showing in 4-H and even more showing open class projects, as well as being a 4-H Leader when my kids were young, I have many wonderful memories. And its great to see all the improvements and updates that the Fair Board is now making. The new landscaping and all the remodeling projects on the buildings are making the grounds even more beautiful. Even though I no longer live in DuPage County and cant make it to every event, I always try to find a way to attend the fair in July. Kudos to the Board and fair management for all the hard work and volunteer hours it takes to continue this great tradition!!

Went for the antiques and flea market, and the reptile show was going at the same time. They put the antiques in the big building, which there were hardly any vendors there, not to mention very few antiques, and the reptiles in the smaller building which was so packed, you could barely move. Reptile show needs to be more picky with their vendors. One table had a kitten for sale that was clearly not ready to be weaned from its mother, had trama to its tail and conjunctivitis in its eyes.

$10 admission is too high. Consider minimum wage is $8.25 per hour, after taxes, a person needs to work 2 hours just to afford to enter this event which requires you to spend more money once you get inside the gate. Nope. Even with a groupon deal, the price is too high. The people in charge of this event are out of touch. The same rides, events and vendor booths can be found at all the free local festivals. Theres not much here you havent seen before for free.

I have been visiting the Dupage County Fair since long before I was in 4-H as a child. Some of my most favorite childhood memories involve those fairgrounds. I am now a mother and I make sure to bring my 5 year old EVERY year... even though we now live over 3 hours away. There is something for just about everyone, and I think this fair is a great family fun activity for summer in Dupage County.

Attending the DuPage County Fair at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Rd, Wheaton, IL 60187 is always a lot of fun. All in the group always have something that will interest them from the rodeo to the demolition derby to the concerts. Take time when the fair is up and running and go to see the county fair.

Over priced... 10$ per adult, want to watch the DEMOLITION DERBY another 10$ per. Every kids ride is like 3 tickets. Tickets are 5$ for 4 tickets or 20$ for all day pass. so for 2 adults and a kid your looking @ 60$ roughly. Then there is the customer service. Just horrible.

This place has a new show every weekend. Its much better during the summer but It does have an I door area for shows. The fair is super fun and they definitely put on a good fireworks show.

The prices seemed to go up a lot this year. But a great experience overall. So many great food choices! Get those prices down and Ill give it five stars. Attendance should increase, too.

First time back in a couple years. A little disappointed at the additional charge for the rodeo, etc. Sadly, fairs probably never mean the same to us as they did when we were kids.

The fair sucked this year everything was ridiculously over priced! 4 or 5 tickets per ride and one book of tickets was $20 for 18 tickets definitely sucked!!!

Been enjoying events here since the mid 70s. Great flea market, toy show, county fair etc. Lots of parking and food is usually served at events.
