We had so much fun here, exploring the marsh, hiking, and looking for turtles and frogs (we found several of both!). This is a very fun place to spend several hours, were already planning our next trip here. FYI: there are only portable toilets at both parking lot entrances, so you may want to plan ahead if you have little ones!

I enjoy this wetlands park. The Rotary Club put up a covered picnic area. There is a ropes course Ive never been on. There is a set of paths that take you to the open water and along the side of the marsh. Theres a variety of ecosystems including mature stands of bur oak. Many wildflowers.

No bugs, surprisingly, for being in middle of swamp. Path is lined with wood chips, very soft. But wheels smaller than a bicycle wont roll too well. Paths through swamp are literally plastic boards on piers, very sturdy. There is a bird observation deck in middle of area.

I love going to Lincoln Marsh with my daughter, we walk the trail, bird watch and check out whats hopping or blooming along the way! Although we dont have a dog, I do see people walking and running with dogs -- so it is also pet friendly.

Great place to walk year round. I especially love walking here at sunset when all the birds are singing. Sometimes I see other wildlife. But sometimes the bugs are too much on hot days.

Nice little walking path. Wasnt crowded when I went. Almost all mulch, so if you dont like walking a lot on that, look the other way.

What a jewel in Wheatons crown, plus it helps prevent flooding, cleans our water and provides so many habitats!

Very quiet place to hike. Can walk out into the marsh area on floating docks. There is even a public firepit.
