Besides the obviously busy roads near the entrances which can be quite loud, the nature preserve is gorgeous, well-maintained, and full of wildlife ranging from squirrels to deer and many great bird singers in between. Its a quaint place to walk every weekend, and the hills keep up the level of activity for any person. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind. Just make sure to bring the bug spray and camera!

Ive been going to the hickory creek preserve since I was little. Very clean, very nice with plenty of beaten paths to go off walking on if youre tired of walking the paved way.
