Less than an hour north of st Louis If you are sad about the hills, then there must be no crowd, (you walked fast enough to notice the hill) (extra brownie for lunch) enjoy the short lines, expansive view of the mighty Mississippi along the Great River Road; enjoy the butterfies, Lizzy lizards and intricate tangled exposed (eroded) roots along your climb .. Like doilies on the hillside .. Enjoy the walk Think about the long water ride down ... Swish!! .. And wish the climb was longer Bahaha hahaha lmao The trips down the slides are so much fun !!!! Nah .... For real, if you need an escalator, rent a video game at a hotel Veteran discount is very generous Aug16 is almost off season Off season, each ride has one "twin" on, or open .. There were mostly no lines today. the lines today were short, maybe 5 or 6 ppl, 8 was the longest and that line went fast Off season we got front parking, even arriving after lunch. Every item in the gift shop is half off or close The retail refreshments uh ... Are retail .. There are picnic tables outside the park along the parking lot areas The large fries ($4 , 2 potatoes?) Stay crispy on the way to the cooler in the trunk by the picnic tables. A nice retail treat to share with 4 adults if you planned /brought a regular lunch

What a wonderful location for a waterpark! Raging Rivers has a great variety of slides, pools, etc., all situated in bluffs along the scenic Illinois River Road. So you can lay out on either side of the wave pool and have a view of the Mississippi River! Note that due to the unique geographic location, steep hills lead up to many of the rides, so certain areas of the park, while accessible to all, may not be the easiest to get to. Theres plenty of options for food and cold beverages and dip n dots, and a few designated zones for alcohol consumption!

******HORRIBLE********* I rented a canbana for my family ($80) it was nasty and not VIP status that I paid for. My daughter and I ordered the burger sliders, terrible it tasted just like fish. The rides are fine, but to top it off someone did a hit and run on my truck that was parked right in front of the attendant lady that took our tickets going in.

This isnt a top tier modern waterpark, but its still good family fun. Water shoes or flip flops are helpful. Steep hills up to the slides. Full price admission seems too high so seek discounts which are readily available, including at the area visitor center just 1/2 mile west.

To the East is a dirt (mud the day we went) trail that leads back to more caves. Be prepared to get muddy on the way back if it has recently rained. Right off the parking lot it looks like they are improving the area below the painting with stonework and bathrooms.

IVE LOVED IT SINCE A CHILD, AND THAT WONT CHANGE!!!!! SIZE DOESNT MATTER HERE; QUALITY OF SERVICE, PROFESSIONALISM, AND HOSPITALITY OUTRANK THE MAJORITY OF WATER PARKS TWICE ITS SIZE OR BIGGER. SOME THINGS YOU CANT MAKE ANY BETTER!!!!

Love coming here with family and friends. They have something fun to do for every age. We love the wave pool and lazy river. The food is so yummy too. Though the food is a little pricey and you have to climb all those hills.

I went there for the first time a few weeks ago . This is an AMAZING place. Staff was very friendly, The entire family felt safe and the property was very clean. There are very steep hills to climb, but well worth it.

Love this place. Always have. I have been attending this water park since I was a little girl. Its a smaller water park which I love and nestled back into the river bluffs, overlooking the giant IL river. Beautiful.

Had fun but the kids were freezing waiting in line for slides. Trees need trimmed and concrete tore up the bottoms of their feet. But got some good water fun
