I had my wedding here three weeks ago. First, let me say Isabella is a dream come true. Glen Club management, if you are reading this, give that lady a raise! She is the most professional, organized, event planner on the north shore - and she know her business. I work in the industry myself so I have a true appreciation for the amount of knowledge and grasp of the role she really has. I was in an absolute panic the week of my wedding because I was afraid to let go and be a guest for a change. Isabella assured me that she would make everything perfect. She is fully dedicated and present at your wedding, as though you were the only bride ever to have a wedding there - which is definitely not the case. She will not let one thing go wrong on your day. She has the staff down to a science. Everyone hates to go to a wedding and sit twiddling their thumbs - this wont happen. Service is prompt and friendly - seamless. Now, for the Glen Club. It was an incredibly rainy weekend but we were fortunate to see the sun peek through the clouds long enough to have a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors. We wanted a wedding that was classy, simple, elegant and seamless, and we got it. The setting is beautiful and understated. The ballroom is a beautiful backdrop for the evening, done in champagne with high ceilings. We had 110 people and the room was perfect. I believe 150 would be comfortable as well. (Any more might be tight.) Our guests raved about the space and the impeccable service. If you are looking for a crazy, fancy, over the top wedding, this is not your place. If you are looking for a back-yard buffet and beer keg wedding, also not your place. But, if you want a classy wedding in the wedding garden followed by elegant cocktails over the golf course and a well-executed, "simple elegance" reception, book the Glen Club.

I was here for my friends wedding. The wedding was outdoors and the weather was perfect despite the forecast. The Glen club was ideal for an outdoor September wedding. As for the reception, we were served a choice of vegetarian pasta or free-range chicken. This was the best wedding chicken I have ever stuffed my face with. What sealed the deal was the open bar. This was the first time I have been to a wedding where shots were served all night long. I can now see why shots are discouraged at such functions but it was a blast.

Played golf September 17th. A beautiful day that was ruined by the terrible condition of The Glen Club. I really was looking forward to our day as I do love the layout of the course and the challenge that it brings. The tees and fairways were very shaggy and the greens were especially bad. Beat up with spike marks as if there were players before us in metal spikes. Players do not rake the sand bunkers and there were many, many unrepaired balls marks on the greens. For the cost, I will have a difficult time going back.

Just stumbled upon this little gem while riding through Glenview. The area is beautiful and was once a U.S. Naval base. Its a breath of fresh air to see a course that isnt hidden in a forest preserve.

Went there for a wedding. The venue was very elegant and the service was excellent. The outdoor ceremony site was protected with shade so it wasnt unbearably hot. It was a beautiful wedding.
