Big neighborhood park that offers, basketball courts, tennis courts, softball or baseball and soccer fields, and a kids playground. In addition, the Chicago Park District has a community garden, hold camps, and offer a variety of other activities throughout the year. Their building also has an indoor basketball court. You should also checkout a couple of the permanent food truck and tents throughout the park. Its a good place for walking, running or biking around. A very family oriented park!

An okay park. Where to start so if your looking for a generic neighborhood park here it is. One of Chicagos finest. Im sure many hold this park near and dearly. But its a lacking little park with very little to offer aside from what is expected when your in chicago. This park is near a high school so certain behavior is to be expected; when dealing with high schoolers. I would suggest it for a quick smoke maybe to read, run a few miles on the track but its not very special objectively

This park is great its right by my house has a soccer field baseball field as swings and everything for the kids to enjoy the only problem is at times they could be some sketchy kids there that seem to be up to no good and that can be a problem if youre looking just to enjoy yourself in the park this field house is great the basketball court is phenomenal so if you want to take your kids there to play some hoops to good place to go

Its amazing to watch this park grow from the early 90s to now. This park was a big part of my life. I was a girl scout here. My mom on the advisory council in the 90s helping bringback the green house. My brothers played sports. We went to summer camp here. My dad was a baseball coach. I moved and brought my children and we had a blast.

This park is big and beautiful with much to do. Good playground, baseball, and soccer fields. There are tennis courts that arent in good condition. The field house has indoor basketball courts. The real highlight is the community gardens and greenhouse. This is where my son and love to spend the most time.

They have an amazing annual sale of organic heirloom plants in the spring. They also have a green house that would be really nice if they didnt have useless creap everywhere. It looks like its someones house in there.
