We do this every Sunday. Today’s breakfast was at The Anchor Bistro. There were 12 of us. Their breakfast special on Saturday and Sunday is stuffed biscuits and gravy, and that’s what all of us had. It was 2 biscuits stuffed with crunchy shredded hash browns and a fried egg, topped with sausage gravy. We all agreed it was very good, the best we have had so far. The only thing that some of us saw wrong was that some of us would have liked more gravy, and when our server heard that, she brought more gravy out at no charge. Needless to say, our servers were very attentive and friendly. Also some of us got different gravy, like maybe they had some left over from last night and used it this morning, but it was still good. Everyone agreed the coffee was good, and the best part was the $3.00 Bloody Mary’s and Mimosa’s, that were huge. The atmosphere was good, we were the only group there for awhile, and they were prepared for us. We decided to give a score of 7 and add 1 point for the drinks that were very good and cheap. A total of 8. We rate these places on a score of one to ten. One being food poisoning, and ten being so excellent that we want a second plate. If you want to see more of the places we have been to in Twin Falls Idaho...

Took my son who was visiting from the Bay Area there for dinner. It was the worst service I have ever experienced. The hostess who was also cleaning the windows was very friendly and outgoing. The waitress.....was something else. Not only did she get my sons order screwed up twice...she never once appologized or for that matter said anything! she would just bring whatever it was, set it down on the table and walk away. Never came back and asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. When it was time for the check, she brought it, set it on the table and walked away. Not even a thank-you, have a nice evening or kiss my bu**. Will I go back there again? No. The food isnt all that great. I had the fish and chips which was very dry. Sorry guys but when I go out to eat part of the experience is good service and you all lack in that area.

I ordered the 8 oz steak sandwich and I received bread with finger steaks. Not what I ordered. When I complained I was told by the Waitress and the manager that the steaks were tough and they got too many complaints so they use strips (finger steaks) now. I reiterated that it was not what the menu said and was told that the menu had not been changed yet but would be in a few weeks. So, what I got from this was that this business reserves the right to change your order based on complaints they have received from former customers. I still had to pay for what I didnt order. I will not go back and I will tell everyone about my experience. We eat out usually twice a week. Anchor Bistro will not get my money again.

Horrible. The drinks were good but that was it. Been there a couple times. Last time the bacon wrapped jalapenos were tough as nails. This time i got an gyro. It was lamb and lettuce on pita bread. When i asked for cucumber sauce, i got a funny salad dressing. When i told the bartender the sandwich was inedible, she said "oh" and charged me for it anyway. Not only is the food lousy but they have poor business practices. I wont be back.

I took my wife on a lunch date on a Friday afternoon. It wasnt really busy while we were there. We only saw our waitress 3 times. She took our order refilled drinks once or twice and dropped off the food. We sat and waited for about 15 min after we were done eating and never received the bill. I had a gift card so I left it with another waitress and left. The food was great but service sucked. Will never be back.

The menu is limited but good. The atmosphere is definitely Sports Bar --- loud, noisy and fun! So when I am out with friends, this is where we go. The full bar is great and the bartenders are usually pretty darn good. If you are looking for a romantic restraunt with a more refined atmosphere .... that also serves consistantly fabulous food and has consistantly great service, you are in the wrong city.

Food and drinks are good, and the staff is friendly but sometimes the service can be really slow. Ive felt a little forgotten by my waiter 2 out of the last 3 times Ive been there. The atmosphere is great if you love the bar atmosphere, otherwise it can be really loud and difficult to talk to someone else. Great hangout place with friends though!

The place looks like a piece of crap, the food is horible i have seen hairs in my food multiple times. But the drinks are ok but could be better. The servers are mean and if you have kids they yell at you to hurry up when your kids and taking a long time to decide what you want. Also the employees always have oily hair and stink ALL the time.

This is our favorite restaurant in town! Everything is delicious!! Ive gotten some of the salads, paninis, flatbreads... It was all amazing!! You MUST get the sweet potatoe fries! Theyre the best Ive ever tasted! My hubby ALWAYS gets the wings and loves them! I definitely recommend this place!!

Didnt really dislike it. Just didnt love it. People were friendly and pleasant, the food was basic out of the box institutional stuff. Drinks were ok, not outstanding. For the money it was fine. Decent service, acceptable food. Clean space, I just expect a little more for my dining bucks.

My husband and I have been coming to the Anchor for 4 years and ABSOLUTELY love it! The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, atmosphere cannot be beat. Live music, fireplaces, TVS with football, drink specials! This is our Cheers!

The bistro is the place to be monday night! The waitresss are pretty and the the bartender rocks! How can u complain with tons of flat screes and a good time?! Buy your 1st drink and your mug is your with cheap refills! All Im all great place!

One night back in 2013 it was snowing with some ice and I was planning to walk home after a couple of drinks they insisted that I take a cab home for I guess safety for there customers and restaurants I would rate them 10 stars for there effort

Was told that atmosphere was more restraunt and turn out to be bar. Was in there around noon on a wednesday and the table of ladies behind us was loud and offensive. Finger steaks were tough and cheeseburger was nothing worth writing home about

Best beer in the city. This place never disappoints and is easily my pick for must check out place to have a drink in the city. Also wayyyyyyy better beer prices than the corporate chains that dont carry near the variety anchor does. Cheers

We are brand new to this area and the service and manager were so accommodating to our needs because we were new. So far the beer the appetizers, and the food was totally out of this world. Would recommend.
