I have been to the Talking Rock General a few times and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They keep the place clean and cozy! You can find all kinds of unique gift ideas there, from desk decorations to collectible memorabilia. There are some unique items there you just wont find anywhere else, and gold and gem stone panning outside of the store. Its just a really cool, quaint little country general store with easy access from highway (GA-515) on the way to Blue Ridge. I highly recommend stopping there to check it out!

This place is awesome! It is fun for the whole family and very budget friendly. The kids love gemstone mining! They also have delicious soft serve ice cream and yummy lattes. Cute gift shop inside as well and its in a cute and country small town!

We had such a good time learning to pan for gold and gem stone mining! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable the location id beautiful! Their selection of gifts and jewelry is awesome! I cant wait to go back! The coffee is top notch too!
