This is a terrible place, scary, stay away. (Just kidding, we in Roswell would like to keep this place as our secret, but we will share with others, if you must drive all the way out here for a bit a paradise!) Bring your bike, or rent one (free for the first few hours). Walkers and bikers co-exist fairly well (some bikers are quite fast). Be careful to not run into the deer (they have very little fear). Bring your camera and a picnic lunch. Watch out for the birds and turtles. They have come in and done a lot of clearing (Oct/Nov.16), so there are some ugly scarred places. It seems a bit extreme cutting for fall, but all will heal by spring, I hope. This location is the south end a many miles of connected paved paths, as well as the entry point into some very fun off-road bike paths. There is a loop of dirt walking paths, but the close proximity of the bikes and a few residences does compromise the illusion of being out in the middle of nowhere. Still, for nature close to home, this place is a good compromise for the varied recreational needs of the people of Roswell, as well as a welcome place for our neighbors!

Mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and a very long green-way that runs all the way to North Point. This park has a bathroom and water fountain area as well. I mountain bike here at least 3 times a week, the best thing about the mountain bike area is the variety of trails. Downhill courses, pump tracks, XC courses of all spans of difficulty. The trails are maintained well and I enjoy them as my "home" park. The only knock on them is it is a little hard to figure out how it is all set up if you are new to the park, signage is mediocre. I have never hiked, but they are in same general area as bike trails and seem to used by quite a bit of people. The greenway is fantastic. A good long ride to North Point on a bike.

I absolutely love this park. The concrete trail is perfect. Whether your walking/running, rollerblading or the common thing here, biking this place is built for it. O, but are paved trails not your thing, are bumpy, windy mountain bike trails more your thing, well this place have you covered too. With the recent addition of rental bikes added, you can download the app associated with it, get the unlock code, enter it and bam you got yourself a bike to enjoy the nice trail through the woods. Check it out. Trust me, youll enjoy it

Great place to begin the Big Creek Greenway to Alpharetta (13.4 mi to Marconia and back) Off to the side of the lower parking lot is a dirt track and a smaller one for tots. This is a lovely 5 star park but the forbidden "speed training " crowd brought it down to four for me. And yes, theyre on every trail, but they ruin the "stop and smell the roses" bicyclists like me. Other than that its a beautiful way to spend a few hours.

This really is made up of 2 separate and distinct areas--free-ride and XC. The free-ride area is the best in Atlanta. Great place to train for Beech mountain and Baileys (both in NC). The XC course is very good (but Blankets, Rope and Sope are better). The XC has few hills and some technical areas but none too bad. Also the course is relatively short so you may need to do multiple laps of part of the course.

Big Creek is a wonderful and exhilarating mountain bike trail with nice walking paths mostly separate from biking. Though its not the biggest or most scenic park, its well maintained and varied enough to stay interesting throughout. Plus, the trail takes multiple paths and reverses course on different days of the week. Recommended for all riding levels.

The pump tracks and trails are maintained by RAMBO. Lots of fun for kids ages 3+ with some experience riding. Strider bikes do well on the smaller pump track. There is a small section of downhill for beginners. Lots of riding for everyone. A gem in Roswell, soon to be connected to the Forsyth trail system too!

This place is really big. Only with a cycle we can explore the whole trail. This place has zagster bicycles. So will b visiting again.lot of mosquitoes after 7 PM in few places. Also most of the cycles are of Zagster are gone by 6 so may need to come early if u need those.

Beautiful place to walk your dog or have a picnic! Only ,wish the bike trails were managed a little more for care, for protection of erosion, the park is a place that wildlife gathers & if it is beneath water the wildlife will not go there for refuge.

Fun place to go biking or hiking. Expect to see wildlife in a lot of places. The mountain bike trails could use some work, but its still a lot of fun. There are courses for beginners and advanced riders as well as a green way boardwalk.

I dont think these trails are the best for beginners because they seem to be a bit more technical with all the roots and rocks. If you are just starting out check out Blankets or Olde Rope Mill but definitely come back for this one.

Great place for run, walk and bike. There are some really nice mountain bike paths. Heavy rain can did large portions of it as they did not grade it very well but its ready to get 20+ miles on the trail out and back.

MTB trails are great - expect typical East Coast rocks and roots. Sometimes we go there as a family and either ride on the paved greenway or walk the designated walking trails. Something for everyone!

Wild in the suburbs. Isolated sometimes feels like you are the only.one there. Sometimes a little scary when you run into a group of deer looking at you like what are you doing but really nice.

Good for road bikes and offroad, plus walking. Ride all the way to the north end of the Alpharetta greenway. Keep it under the speed limit as there are blind turns and children on foot.

Excellent single track trail running. Really, its for mountain biking, so give way to traffic with greater kinetic energy. but Im a runner and its a great training spot.

Excellent trails, close to home. My only complaint is that the more difficult trails seem to just mean "rockier". But the beginner trail is great for riding really fast.

Big Creek Park is a nice, small park that works well for a quick hike or mountain bike ride. Trails are a bit beat up, so keep your expectations low and youll enjoy it.

Nice mtb trail. Lots of rocks and roots with some technical areas but very little climbing. They have a section dedicated to just downhill - if thats your thing.

Pretty cool wetlands area (the "trail" is raised wood, so snakes are unlikely). Nice forest trails for walking. Looks like great mountain bike trails.

Shady paved pedestrian and bicycle path follows Big Creek. Path goes from Old Alabama Road in Roswell almost to Windward Parkway (10 miles).

Im a novice mountain biker, and the green trail is challenging and enjoyable. There are intermediate and expert trails available too

Nice metro Atlanta mountain bike trails. Short and punchy climbs. Twisty tight singletrack. Rocky and routing and smooth at times.
