I, an african american male, was playing BBall when I was falsely accused of verbally assaulting an elderly caucasian male employee. He said that two weeks prior to the accusation, I had threatened him saying,"Id come back here and take care of him!" During the accusation, he asked me to follow him to the front office to get me to talk to the head of security. I followed him respectfully to prove my innocence. When I got In, I was once again accused. This time I laid out the truth. The only time prior to the current time on which I had an encounter with this same employee was when someone had dunked on the hoop. I came to that persons defense and promised the old employee that I nor anyone present would dunk on the hoop. Upon hearing this he granted us a second chance, and further explained how delicate the maintenance of the equipment is. After that I proceeded to play ball and didnt talk to him for the rest of that day. After letting this information be known, both the head of security and the employee that accused me had no words. At that moment I offered a handshake and said,"We are done here!" And went on to finish playing BBall for the rest of the afternoon. Now whether or not someone actually threatened him is beyond my knowledge, but I know these things: 1) I have witnesses to prove my innocence 2) I have the utmost respect for the senior citizens of this country. 3) I was racially profiled because I looked like the supposed culprit. 4) There was no video-recorded evidence to compare the culprits likeness to mine. 5) If anyone accuses you of something you know you didnt do, it is your obligation to stand up for yourself! Wonderful wide paved trails. Beautiful scenery. I highly recommend the Beech Trail Loop. Stunning scenery and ancient Mississippian Era burial mounds of stacked stones throughout. Unknown which Indian tribe was responsible. Also a Champion Beech tree is located there so keep yours open and be amazed.

My kids and I love this park. The playgrounds are always in good condition and the area is nice. I do recommend this park. I havent been inside the community center yet, though.

Ive only been here for a Sunday mens basketball league but the gyms are nice and always well maintained.
