These are not the greatest wines as others have stated. We went on 7/11/2015 and the entire tasting felt as though they had leftover bottles that were being serving. One waiter even tried to turn up one of the bottles and tap it out like ketchup - completely ignoring the laws of simple physics. No changing of glasses between servings here. You will contaminate one wine with the next; no matter how much is in the glass, the waiter will come and pour about half an inch of wine in each glass. The waiter even chastised us for cleaning our glasses out with water in order to get the full taste of the wine. This was strange considering they started off with whites and started going to reds ... as if they were trying to give the reds some type of flavor. Since almost all are grape blends and not quite pure, they will give the wines a different taste by combining them with laughable amount of wine given. Out of 5 wines, only one (the Brut Rose) stood a candle to commercial brands; and even then, it felt a little dry and lifeless. I am no sommelier, but I know what wine is supposed to taste like when it is good. Also, they served 3 champagne-like wines and 2 reds; not much variation on selection. The hillside area is nice, for Georgia, but the main reason to go to a vineyard is to get fresh tasting, full-bodied wine that wows you. You will not find that here.

Gorgeous views, nice service, good wine!!! We visited this vineyard after a tasting and lunch at Montaluce. We were slightly disappointed with the lunch at Montaluce, so I really wish we had tried lunch here instead. We had a hard time finding a parking spot here, but then realized that was only because a wedding was just ending. After we got to the tasting room a ton of spots opened up. This vineyard is just lovely. My husband and I split the reserve tasting, which was totally worth it. The wine was way better than what we expected for a Georgia winery. In fact, we were with some friends that just returned from Napa Valley and even they were impressed with it. We missed the tour, but plan to do it next time. This is a vineyard I could spend several hours visiting. The tour is only $10 more than the tasting, which seems reasonable enough to try next time. There is a nice deck outside the tasting room, which has incredible views of the vineyards. There were several people from the wedding party including the groom in the tasting room after their wedding. They looked so happy with everything. It made me want to get married again, so I could have my wedding here. I highly recommend this winery. We will definitely be back.

Our daughter had her wedding and reception here. This is really a first class operation. The coordinators, Linda and Lindsey could not have been more professional and helpful. Everything ran like a Swiss watch. The staff is very accommodating. Our oldest daughter was married at one of those "corporate places" some years ago, and we left with that "ripped off feeling". Not here. The view from the wedding pavilion and the dining area was gorgeous. So many of our guests came up to us during the event and said "gorgeous wedding", "great venue", etc. One of our guests said the venue made her feel like she was in Italy. The food was real gourmet. Everything was top of the line. I am not a "wine head", so, I can not comment on the quality of the wines. I would unhesitatingly recommend Wolf Mountain for a wedding and reception.

First time visiting the restaurant and winery. Heard about it through Living Social and was looking for a winery to take my sister in law who was visiting fron Doswell Va and wanted to try out a North Georgia Winery. We had lunch over looking the beautiful montains with a very personable server named Seth. The food was outstanding for the entire group. The Pimento BLT sandwich with bacon was my person favorite. My daughter got the Smoked Beef Brisket sandwich. Good choice for the person who likes tasty beef brisket. We also tried the Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella spread with toasted pita chips. A must for good appetizer. The wine tasting included some good wines. Liked the Plenitude and the Instinct. Cant wait to come back again and maybe attend a wedding. Beautiful setting for a wedding !

Terrible experience! Pre-planned a group wine tasting and had to email everyones lunch order two weeks in advance. Long story short - we never even received our food! A few people within the group never put in their lunch order in advance and ordered at the bar and got their food in 20 minutes. The rest of us who went out of our way to place our lunch orders weeks in advance waited for hours and had to leave the winery by a certain time. The owner ended up having the chef box up our lunches and comp everyones meals but we ate on the bus ride home. We also paid over $20/person for a "private wine tasting" and were literally chasing down servers to pour each wine with no apology. I would not recommend spending your time or money here. Totally unprofessional and terrible service.

This is the first winery Ive visited. It was beautiful out there. My friends and I wanted to go on a tour of the winery. But the person that conducts the tour wasnt there that day. And we didnt find out until right before the tour was supposed to begin that there wasnt anyone else that could take us on the tour. That didnt dampen our spirits, though. We had plenty of wine to sample, and it was all delicious. Speaking of delicious, the Sunday brunch is EVERYTHING. All the items were so good. I couldnt figure out what to eat next. Its worth the price for sure. Ill definitely go back, for that tour I missed and that fabulous brunch!!

Delicious wines that accompanied wonderful customer service and great food. We arrived around lunchtime and went directly to the tasting room. Staff behind the bar were knowledgeable and willing to take time to talk about the vineyard and the wines, etc. despite the tasting room being packed with customers on a wintery Saturday. We ordered a couple of cheese spreads and a pizza - all were tasty and came out quickly. Bottles of wine were a little pricy but the quality was so much higher than some nearby wineries that we took some back to the city with us. Will definitely bring out of town guests with us next time!

Members for over 4 years. We love Wolf Mtn and their staff is awesome. They are always so welcoming. The food is great and pair well with the wines. Wolf has a great outdoor patio/ deck that they are often updating and upgrading. It is often busy which we love to see. Its great that everyone know how awesome this place is but sometimes we cant taste the wines wed like! They have great experiences for wine club members like Sparkling Wine making seminars and Vertical tastings that we plan a year out;)

The scenery alone makes this place worth visiting. Nice selection of white and red wines mostly dry and a few semi-sweet. Appetizers and pizzas available to anyone in the tasting room, but if you want to enjoy their full menu youll need to have reservations for their café. Be sure to make the reservation far in advance. The parking is small sporadic spots around the vineyard, so if you dont find a parking spot right away keep driving around the loop and more opportunities will present themselves.
