Dont even bother wasting your time or money here. My husband and I went there for a late afternoon wine tasting and received the absolute worst service from the waitress/so called manager, Tonya. We were asked to pay for the wine tasting with the cashier, who didnt bother asking for our I.D.s before paying for an alcoholic service. We walked out to the porch to sit at our table and 5 minutes later we were asked to move closer to the door because the waitress didnt want to walk the extra 10ft to the table we chose....we were the ONLY ones there! When the waitress finally came out to give us our menu she also asked for our I.D.s. She looked at my husband and said she couldnt serve him because his I.D. expired 4 days ago. My husband is 36 years old!! No where near under 21!!! Although we understand the legal aspects, it is also legal for a waiter/waitress to serve a patron without I.D. if they are over 35 or look older than 30. The waitress rudely said it was to her discretion and she wouldnt serve him. She failed to even ask him for another legal form of identification. Not only did she not apologize for this inconvenience but she maintained her rude demeanor the whole time!!

Ok place. The food is nothing to write home about but its ok. Basically they have a small sandwich menu and some snack items. The wine is average and over priced but the atmosphere makes it worth a visit. I guess Id put it this way, the wine is drinkable but its not something Id go looking for at a store. Some of the staff are a bit odd and there is an older lady there who acts as a greeter who isnt the friendliest. A beautiful setting and unique little cafe setup make it worth a visit. One tip though, if youre planning on sitting outside on the deck then sit on the front portion of it. The side portion gets a gas smell because the septic tanks are on that side. If its a warm day it can be quite unpleasant smelling. Overall not a bad place, Ive had much better wine but I like the location so I go once in awhile. Its large enough to for a decent sized group. Its secluded, kind of out in the country a bit and the landscape around the area is nice.

Attended a wedding of a close friend here. The employees made a lot of the guest feel not welcomed. Guests of the wedding were not allowed to stand or sit on the patio. There was an old woman standing at the patio at all times with no other job except to yell and scold the wedding party for being near or on the patio. Mind you it was raining outside and there were not many other customers there because of a festival in downtown Jackson. The bartenders also drank wine behind the bar, which is illegal, but found it necessary to close down the bar three hours before the wedding reception was over due to two overly drunk individuals. The whole entire wedding party left two hours early from the horrible and unwelcoming experience.

My wife and I stopped here yesterday to celebrate our first anniversary. Katie behind the tasting bar was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and even gave us two free wine glasses for our celebration! You will not find a better deal in terms of tasting, $5 for anything they have available. I tried 11 wines and that wasnt even half of what was on the menu!! When you do a tasting, plan on buying a glass of wine to sit and enjoy and getting something to eat from the cafe. VERY good food at great prices. We will definitely be coming back!

Skip this one!!! A complete waste of $10 for a tasting. The place was not busy (by any standard) but the bartenders seemed overwhelmed... With two couples at the bar they werent particularly friendly like we were a bother... Skip it and head to another location. By the time you get your sampling out of way, you couldve gotten a glass of wine and been done with their disinterested service.

Place is gorgeous... The view into the rows of grapes from the patio is a amazing. The cafe has great food and a great seating area inside. The place does not seem to have A/C or it was broke, not sure. The better option was most certainly the patio. Tip: go for the 1/2 & 1/2 combo - pick any two soup salad or sandwich for $9.95. also the sangrias are really good

This would have been a easy five if the patio was open, but its still to cold. This Vinyard is hands down warm, welcoming and tasty on all angles of a social/spirited point of veiw. The server was equally as attentive and knowledgeable of her position and craft. Thank you Sandhill thank you. Miguel n Sara ,:0)~ ,:o)

I spent lunchtime with a friend and a fun group at Sandhill Crane Vineyards. My first visit and it exceeded my expectations. The area is just what I like. The food was very good. The wine delicious. The service was top notch. All in all, I would tell people to visit this lovely place. Thank you.

Had a great time! Start with a glass of your favorite wine, then browse through the vendor booths at the Wine and Wool Festival. I found beautiful custom-dyed yarn, a great shawl pattern, a small ball of roving to spin, and a project bag with a sheep print. What fun!

Had a great wine tour and tasting today at Sandhill Crane. The staff was extremely nice and really knew what they were talking about when it came to wine. Both food and wine were delicious, and prices were good. I highly recommend this winery.

Found this Gem on a Pioneer Wine Trail Tasting. The Tramenette is Fantastic!! I love many of their wines sweeter for me, more dry for hubby. Great sandwiches and baked goods. Be sure to go to one of their Events!! Awesome!!

I visited Sandhill Crane Vindyards over the weekend for wine tasting with a group of friends. We had a great time during our visit. They have seating inside and out. Their prices are very reasonable for a tasting.

Overpriced, bland food. Wines are ok, but, again, way over-priced for the quality. Tried to book it as a venue for an event, but the contract terms kept changing. Manager keep up-selling. Cant recommend.

Such a lovely location! Beautiful deck overlooking the vines. Nice wine and menu. Music on some nights and other special events make it a gem in Jackson County.
